There was so much in this video! I think my favourite bit is the snack haul you did so well there and those drink cans are a work of art. I look at my Pepsi can and I feel they could do better. I did find the Lego assassination diorama you "accidentally" made very interesting too. Poor Bard. Perhaps there is a twist to the tale though and I am making an assumption. The Bard knows he is there and is ready for the encounter. He is confident too by the looks of the smile on his face. I have changed my mind, my favourite bit might be you playing Crazy Taxi. I want a go! It looks like you were doing well, unless you cut just before some kind of mega crash. lol Pokemon trade was perfect by the looks of it. The Aloy art your friend got you does look amazing too! I very nearly stopped the video as you said goodbye but you caught me! I am glad I got to see the footage of you catching covid. That sounds worse than I mean really... I mean it was a nice place with so many fun Christmas displays and fish to see. Whoever set those displays up must have had so much fun doing it. I'm not sure I would think it was worth catching covid to visit there though?.... would need a Crazy Taxi machine in the corner... plus someone selling the snacks.... that might seal the deal.
@quietasmouse15 сағат бұрын
I did do well with the snacks! Crazy Taxi was very fun! I promise that after the video cut off the game continued for a few more pick-ups until I ran out of time lol. I got the Aloy art framed for my birthday; I can't wait to put it up! After all these years, I think this was my first ever fake video ending! :D

Hi Mouse. Plotwise the story of 'Decision to Leave' might be an hommage to the hard-boiled film noir genre of a detective & the femme fatale. The ending is really harsh (other than in the classic US films of the 40's/50's). In contrast the ending of the musical "Next to Normal". Hope. Enjoying your Baldur's Gate 3 streams; all the fantasy/DnD fun, Shadowheart (😇) & even Astarion () Looks like we're getting more fun with Pokemons, bonté

Hi Mouse. August (& its heat) seems to be already so far away (now we have the fresh & rainy September). I think room walls need indeed some individual form of decoration. Looking at all the different frames you've chosen, your wall might soon be looking as similar as smaller museums (with paintings from nearly the floor up to the ceiling). I always liked those. Your Dreamlight Valley character looks cool! bonté

Hi Mouse. As you know, not the biggest fan of sport events, but I enjoyed our watch-party of the opening ceremony. The aspect that I appreciated the most in "God of War" was the change & growth of Kratos' as a father (nice to see that in a video game). And yes, the return to the world of Dragon Age! Good for us followers that said game inspired you to start streaming. A ton of time spent together & a lot of games experienced. Looking forward to all the new games coming! Not to forget the great fun during your 12h stream... bonté

Hi Mouse. Indeed, you're rather nigh to the sea (bit more than 70 km); a stone's throw away in comparison to the 700 km I'm away from the North Sea. When you go to Brighton Pier, they say, you tend to look brighter. No wonder you forgot your vlogger plans, in view of all the arcade fun. "On deck with Captain Mouse facing a stiff breeze" - cool impression. And obviously, Ivor has also been here! The music in 'Interstellar' is great (a good choice maybe for a future watch-party). bonté

I love the seaside and I enjoy arcades too. So nostalgic give me a warm feeling inside. Very nice artwork on those Pokémon cards I was obsessed with those as a kid late 90s. I remember trading them as a child on the playground ... and teachers banning them at school because of crying children that regretted trading cards and wanted them back😢

Also fantastic Pokemon storage and seeing the scrunchie and crystals up close on video, they are even prettier than in the pics :D.

Excellent demonstration of how windy it was on the pier! It’s always a fun time in the arcades! It’s good to vary up the piano playing. Keeps things interesting. Your pokemon collection has gotten off to a good start. The mimic box is the perfect protection from those pesky pokemon card thieves out there! They will not dare to steal all your Growlithe’s Nice to finish on a little craft fare visit.

Sorry I meant to comment when the video came out but I was procrastinating. I tried to spot you in the reflection of the balls you filmed while out shopping but it’s tricky. That diamond dragon kit is amazing value. How on earth do they make money? That was a bargain and I’m looking forward to seeing how it looks. You could put it on the wall with all the other pictures you want to put up! I remember you saying you were going to decorate that corner with pictures a few years ago. It will look nice when it’s done. I hope you pick a few of your own pictures you have done to go up as well as I think they are great. I surround myself with your art. It’s my computer wallpaper and phone background and on my wall. It makes me feel happy every time I look at it. 😀

Hi Mouse. Aside the very first Gojira movie, the majority of the Godzilla films are a mix of "destruction rally" & "wrestling tournament" (between Godzilla & one or several other famous kaijus). I think one can spend a lifetime to get into all the history, the lore & the fandom. If I had to recommend another movie, it would be Gareth Edwards' take on the story. Tbh I can recommend all of his movies (with 'Rogue One' , you know already one of them 🙂). Not a sports fan, but I enjoyed our watch-party chat of the opening ceremony. Handball was one of the many team sports I've played in physical training; of course always the goalkeeper ... When I used to watch Olympic sport events, my favourite were the athletics (due to their variety). bonté
@quietasmouse2 ай бұрын
I think that's the Godzilla I've seen! :) That's cool about the handball, Rob. The goalkeeper looks the most difficult role! The athletics has just started in this Olympics, so I'm hoping to catch some of it!

Hi Mouse. Corngrats for your anniversary! I guess you haven't foreseen all the future filming, writing & talking you did on Ytube, when uploading your first vid here (more than 1000 video ago). Aside from the details about her backstory, I think the most important aspect of 'Furiosa' is, that the younger character fits with the older (in 'Fury Road'). Both movies interlock in each other like different sized cogwheels. Sadly we won't see the final part of the planed trilogy. At least - we have these 2 adventures! bonté

I like your new relaxed approach to when these videos come out, especially helpful for a packed month of fun like June was! 1. It looks like my feelings about Dr Who matched yours and Rogue is my favourite episode too. 2. I'm more into my Joseon k-dramas at the moment to watch Bridgerton but I will check it out some point. 3. I must check out Play it by ear. 4. I feel like I will never be able to keep up with Critical Role. 5. Mad Max... I'm glad you like it! It's nice to like things. 6. Jersey always looks like a fun time in your videos! I find watching those videos the next best thing if I can't go myself. 7. I will definitely visit the Power Up thing next time I visit London. What a fun time!! 8. Spirited Away... I'm glad you like it! It's nice to like things. 9. I should have gone to see IVE at the O2. It's a regret I will take with me to the grave.

I need to start another K-drama soon, it's been too long! Don't worry about IVE! It was a good concert, but I don't think it was a once-in-a-lifetime concert! And maybe they'll release a DVD of the concert at some point, that'd be fun!

Hi Mouse. You had some fine weather during your vacation (not to mention the good food, you've enjoyed). Did you had to protect your ears, during the start of the Spitfire? Must have been quite a noise, when she accerlerated for the take off.... bonté

I was very lucky with the weather! It started raining once I left! The spitfire was quite loud, but it wasn't loud enough for ear defenders. It made it very windy though!

Hi Mouse. Obviously the enthusiastic crowd got their money's worth. Glad you had an excellent experience, that evening. I can confirm that caps are a good headgear, when doing things (I always wear them at work). Looks like London got to see you very often in June. The gaming gallery is a pure treasure (the experience might be similar to visiting a large candy store). And congrats to 100 sessions of our grand DnD adventure! They are always a good fun. Tbh you also do some piano practice in FF7 itself - guess we can add that to your irl practice too. bonté

I did record the radio adaptation when it was on radio 4 extra. It was 4 * 15 minute episodes, but great fun, I thought. Mark Heap was a splendid Rincewind. On rereading the Discworld books I find myself loving Rincewind & the luggage even more (I used to be a big fan of Carrot), though I understand pterry wasn’t so keen on him - preferring Vimes & Tiffany. So Eric went down pretty well 2nd time around. It’s the slightly world-weary cynicism of Rincewind, and the fact that the only thing he trusts on the Disc is that instinct in his head saying “run now, and the ‘where to’ will deal with itself”. Oddly his cowardice is almost heroic - at which point I’m starting to sound like the sort of dork who waxes nonsensical about books
@quietasmouse4 ай бұрын
Now that you're mentioning it, I feel like I may have heard, and liked, the BBC radio adaptation too! I never really got on with Rincewind when I first read the books (although I always liked the Luggage). Him and his books did grow on me in this readthrough though, like you.
@franohmsford75484 ай бұрын
Easily the worst Discworld book of the lot - The only one I actively disliked reading it! Not sure if I'd place The Shepherd's Crown or Dark Side of the Sun as Pratchett's weakest work overall.....DSotS was such a ridiculously hard read considering it's under 160 pages.
