The website is ALWAYS a mess - My information never works so one needs to update then it flips back (loops) to a former one. NO one can fix it. I used to work for NYC computer companies - so not naive. Gov!!!???

You don't need the bungee cord. The airflow will hold the filter in place.

Is the audio severely messed up for anyone else? It's only on this video. I even tried playing it in an online video player and it had the same audio issues

The solution to the problem is not removal of PFAS from the environment. It's getting control of manufacturing. Unless you have a valve to regulate the amount being manufactured, you will not solve the problem. It should be used only in the most important applications and not just scattered about. Making it expensive is how you determine which applications are most important. Evironmental taxes are what can make it expensive. They can act as a valve on production.

What is the point? How has the baking soda been changed? Why not just use it the way it is?

Ugh thank you! I've been watching several vague and non cost effective videos on how to use a standard plastic box as a composter and yours FINALLY clearly said leaves/newspaper, clean dirt (what an oxymoron lol), scraps, water. Done, no special pre made compost or necessity to buy worms etc

Looked this up after hearing about big water curtailments in Idaho. Sounds like we wouldn't ever have that problem since everyone is applying for rights, probably monitor everyone's wells.

This doesn't work. everyday lot more kitchen waste adding in to the bin could invite unwanted bugs and lots of ants. If you go this way you need 20/30 containers. practically not going to work.
@craftygirl75 ай бұрын
I actually do this outside and it doesn’t invite bugs. Occasionally, I will get a worm. I have planter boxes and containers on my deck. I add food scraps to my planter boxes and containers. As a result of doing this, I have grown tomato’s because I put the seeds and tomato scraps into my container. Never once have seen a warm in that container. In my planter boxs, I now have potato’s growing because threw in potato scraps into my dirt. Just recently, I found one little tiny worm the size of a staple. I live in a hot climate. In the winter when it rains, my containers and my planter boxes thrive. I can mix up my wet soil. Every day, I compost all my kitchen scraps. Certain foods like egg shells and orange peel skins can give your plants nutrients too. I grew up in the country. My dad would always throw his food scraps into the dirt or feed our chickens, sheep or goats with it.

Understanding Washington's Climate Commitment to bullshit
I bury kitchen scraps directly into my vegetable beds and cover with soil. Within few days the scraps are unidentifiable becoming one with the soil. Every day I use a different spot to bury the kitchen waste. I am vegan, so no animal products or eggshells.

What happens in the winter if you live in an area that has months of freezing temperatures? The bin lid freezes on? The compost freezes so you can't turn it?
