She ate it all. When was last time she brought food and Sol was able to mantle? at the end Sol wanted to eat but she had eaten it all . Very said to look at this video but thank you for sharing it . Says a lot

The fact that there was some food in the nest tells you Sol’s body was already shutting down. There is a point of no return. Happens with humans as well. 💔

I see - the little bobble was holding mama's head feather in its mouth and was swung over there when she raised her head. Glad she got her eaglet back into the nest - the way she scootched him/her so gently.💕

And the eaglet is like: "wooooow! Where am I? This looks so different! But Mom's settling on us, everything's okay. Wait, settling on ... us? Mom?!" Lucky eaglets that they do have these experienced parents.

Liberty's like "hm, aren't you supposed to be under me?" and she uses her beak to get the lost chick back under her, amazing! It's for those incidents that they bring the many sticks to the nest. Nothing bad happened. Well done, Lib and Guardian!

Thanks for the videos. I share them with friends and family. I have spent many hours watching this nest, awaiting the hatching. So happy there are 2 eaglets this season. Too bad the microphone isn’t working. This is the first Bald Eagle livestream I started watching in 2021. The live chat was very informative. Honor , Glory, and Rebel were so much fun to watch.
