Honestly I wish I was never born into this family. The amount of suffering and anger is just not worth it, it takes so much out of you, yet your parent doesn't frankly have capacity to have empathy. Feels sickening to wish my parents to be dead but here I am.

Mindfulness is key for helping to slow down the brain, as it loves to overthink and worry itself into habitual cycles. This book goes great with the mindfulness workbook called 30 Days to Reduce Stress by Harper Daniels; I recommend both together.

I don't bother anyone. I just binge on drugs and alcohol on my front porch until I pass out. I had no idea my community was watching. One night some lady leaned over and whispered in my ear, "What did momma do to you" That's a good question. Let me find out.
