He really toned his voice down to almost monotone when he sings now. He had a rasp in his vocals back here. It’s what’s missing in this songs these days… Effort J

This was from the Suffocate tour with Everclear and Carrie supporting, not the Polythene tour. But it was still an amazing gig/set list/tour. I went to the Portsmouth Pyramids show of this tour l, the set list was similar, yet with a couple of changes. They played Stereo world, and finished on tangerine. Also, I’m sure they played an acoustic version of high but might be wrong. Deffo played chicken on a bone.

When Feeder were Feeder. Buck Rogers changed everything in 2001 by 2005 their music was much more pop and they lost last their Rock/Indie edge.

Pfft Descend as a set opener 🤯

It totally works !! But, I DO get why you disapprove. Lol. Jon meant that way,I bet !! He wanted something to me this way ! Please remember Jonathan Henry Lee. 💜🥁🐉🎤🎶💞

Don't get me wrong, it is a statement of intent and hearing Descend as an opener would blow anyones mind. I personally would save it for later in the set, but then I am sat behind a keyboard while these guys was living the best life.

@@Paul_Abbott_Landsraad_Project Thank you for your reply ! I totally agree w/ you on saving this song for the middle in the progress ,or towards the end !! I can't tell you why ,but I am PERFECTLY entitled to say this !!! Lol. Jon wanted to show his love & compassion toward me , just like when he plaid this on Reading stage in '97 ( the best footage for this song ! )wearing purple for my support !! You don't have to feel smaller sitting behind your keyboard at all !!! Some say that " making is everything !" Not at all !!! JON KNEW THIS ,too !! It's all fixed & rigged in this world ! True talent alone doesn't bring you to the music/ entertainment industry sadly ,it's all to do w/ the connections !! So ,no need to feel that way !! Remember everyone had those times spending time working behind something !! Hold your head high & do what you're good at ,making ,or not !! The most in the front line nowadays in the entertainment business are not really qualified at all anymore anyway !! They've got all gimmicks/ tricks now to cover 'em up to look better !! Talentless ,so many of 'em are !! So,no need to be ashamed yourself ,or feeling small !!! Sending you hugs from L.A. ! Please remember Jon ! 💜🥁🐉🎤🎶💞

No worries Spark. He was an incredibly talented bloke and much missed within this business we call show. As for the promoting of him on comments such as this, I am not sure its needed. Yes maybe 10 or 30 years from now it might be, but we are the generation who knew of Jon and what he brought to the bands early days.
@spark_67102 жыл бұрын
@@Paul_Abbott_Landsraad_Project I am glad to hear that ! But, Jon died for me & people are believing in the false story they came up at the time !! They put the disgrace on Jon's face !! I've been reading ugly comments & approached from people remembering him that way ! Jon never slapped his wife, or any woman !! He wasn't even jealous of his wife !! Thank you ! Thank you for your replies !
