Unfortunately all my 1/16 RC tanks have plastic tracks so I do not have firsthand knowledge. A couple of my friends do have metal tracks and suggest that metal drive gears are required due to the greater weight of the tracks. My friends prefer metal rather than plastic as they like the more realistic movement. Thanks for your comment and for watching.

I built this as box stock with only bearings as a hop up. I did install the tamiya cockpit on the body. I could not go to full throttle for the video as it kept on scrapping the pavement due to its low clearance. I also have one sealed in a box and not planning on building that one. Thanks for the video. Your Taylor guitar sounds great. I do have a Bose question Are you using one S1 as a side monitor? How many L1 columns do you have? Did you go through a mixer or just straight to the l1’s. Thanks again.
@virgil608 ай бұрын
Using one S1 pro as a monitor for my brother (lead singer). On this video we are using one L1 Pro16 although I do have 2 L1 Model 2 with B2 Bass Modules. All instruments and vocals are connected to a Bose T8S mixer which is connected to the Pro16 using an Ethernet Cat6 cable. Thanks for watching and comment.

Great playing. Question with the 1 pro 16 how are you getting more than 3 channels. Please be detailed if you can. Thanks. Keep jamming..
@virgil609 ай бұрын
Using the Bose T8S mixer. 4 channels for vocals and 4 channels for instruments. Connect it to the Pro16 using a Cat6 Ethernet cable for digital signal. The T8S is pretty expensive for an 8 channel mixer but it seems to get the best out of the Bose L1 series of PA speakers. You can use any mixer just connect to either channel 1 or 2 of the Pro16 just make sure to turn off Tonematch and have treble and bass settings “flat”, and reverb all the way down. Thanks for watching and comment.

Got the 3D file from this site (www.thingiverse.com/thing:5349398). It is a free download. Will need a 3D printer. I have the Ender 3 V3 SE which is reasonably priced and so far I have been getting reliable prints (only had the printer for a couple of weeks). Had to modify the side pods as they print with battery clips but they kept breaking so I just glued them to the stock battery clips of the mini-z. Hope this helps.

Thanks for watching and comment. The singer (my brother) unfortunately has hearing loss. He usually wears a hearing aid but it is not useful during a gig. He uses a Bose S1 Pro as a monitor to give him a directional monitor in front which helps him.

Thanks for the video. Do you just have the one L1 Pro 16. Do you find it is enough for gigging? Thanks for the demo..and song!
@virgil60 Жыл бұрын
I actually also have 2 Bose L1 Model 2 with B2 Bass Modules and 2 Bose S1 Pro. Used to do band gigs with 1 L1 Model 2 and Karaoke gigs with 2 S1 Pros. But I am now getting older and just use the 1 L1 Pro16 for our gigs (I no longer do karaoke gigs). The Pro16 has surpassed all of our expectations for sound quality and power. Our gigs have recently been mostly in restaurant and catering hall environments so people not only want live music but also want to be able to have conversations with each other. My brother (lead singer) will use his S1 Pro as a monitor for his vocals and guitar because he has some hearing loss and having the monitor in front helps him a lot. By positioning the L1 Pro16 behind us lets us hear what the audience hears. Using the Bose T8S mixer does get the most out of the L1 systems. Sorry for the long response as I have been a Bose system fan for over 15 years. Thanks for your comment and for watching.

Hi. Using one L1 Pro16. All vocals and instruments connected to a Bose T8S mixer which is connected to the Pro16 with an Ethernet Cat6 cable. The mixer master volume is at the “9 o’clock” position. Nice job! I have a question. I am in a 3 piece band as well and I am wondering if you have played in a medium sized club with this set up? Is it powerful enough for a power trio play a good sized club? Do you think it could handle mic ing up a guitar, bass, two singer mic's and drums through a separate Mackie mixing board? Thanks, and again, great job by you guys.
@virgil603 жыл бұрын
We have played medium size venues with about 150 guests and outdoor as well with over 100 guests. The Bose L1 Pro 16 handled both situations well. I did not have to go above 50 percent master volume on the Bose T8S mixer. The mixer is connected to the L1 Pro with a Cat6 network cable so I did not have any volume settings on the L1 Pro. Unfortunately we have not been able to record gigs as there is nobody to record us. I would probably use direct boxes for guitar and bass to limit the chance of feedback although I have not had issues with feedback even when the L1 Pro is directly behind me on drums. I have not yet tried acoustic drums setup with the L1 Pro 16 as I use electronic drums. I hope this helps. Thanks for the kind feedback.

We now currently use the Bose L1 Pro System and forgot that this video has us using the Bose L1 Model 2 with B1 Bass Module. Our past gigs we used the L1 Model 2 with a B2 Bass module. I think the B1 Bass module does not provide enough bass response for out normal gigs and is only used for practice.
