I think the following passage addresses your question. Philippians 2:9-11 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. All Power in Heaven and Earth have already been Given to Jesus and he already has a name that is higher than all names, and all persons everywhere should bow the knee and confess that he is Lord - right now. But we don't see that happening yet. Instead, we see the same pattern that has been going on since he was on earth - some believe Jesus is the Lord and some do not . . . One day, at Christ's return, that will change and then every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that he is Lord. (Romans 14:11, Isaiah 45:23) Their acknowledgement then doesn't change the fact that he already was Lord. The obligation and command to repent is still valid, true and proper even in the presence of disobedience. Just as the commands not to murder or bear false witness are still valid even though some will still murder and lie.

I'm glad that you were blessed and uplifted by these hymns. I also believe that the simple pattern of worship found in the new testament is the best practice. Your recommendations on improvements are certainly true as well. This video was my first attempt at trying to present these old cassettes of hymns in a format that more people could find them and hear them.
