*_Brilliant tutorial!_* - just a _tiny tiny_ constructive criticism: a lot of ppl watching tutorials are not veterans and even i, who has over 1000 hrs couldn't even google what the acro. GSRM meant....I realised it must be Guardian reinforcement stuff but what newbie is gonna know that?... Great video but you need to work on your sound levels. Needed to put the volume way up to hear the commentary, but then when the music cuts in I was worried it would wake my kids!

Best use: every hard point as class 1 long range force shell gimballed cannon, fly out to an anarchy outpost, sit out of station range and wait for an NPC to take off. Stop them and watch the station kill them for loitering and shooting at you.

I personally would follow the chieftain build that is outlined in this video over the MK2. I of course am a bit biased for the chieftain as it is my most favored ship to use for AX combat thanks to its maneuverability and weapon loadout capabilities which fit AX combat perfectly.

Why are AX builds heavily Engineered??? Can a Beginner with limited engineering do AX with the Krait??

In case your question hasn’t been already answered, thargoids hit like trucks. Engineering makes a world of difference in almost every aspect. At the end of the day, the more engineered your ship the easier it’ll be

It does take a bit of time to grind the materials for guardian weapons but honestly just take the time for the gauss cannons as they are the meta and it will save you time from gathering the materials for the other weapons you would pretty much never use.

Does having four pips to weapons help with heat management? I struggle with four gauss cannons.

It does help with heat. Also splitting up the firing to two gauss bursts and using a heat sink while alternating shots keeps heat below the 20% mark.

It is rather annoying but personally the obstruction is minimal compared to ships like the anaconda, corvette, or even the mamba really. Thats just how I feel about them anyway lol.

Great videos. I’m a fan. What’s your jumprange on this Phantom n how’d you get it? Ive played, off n on, for a few years but still dont understands builds n engineering. I like the fighter hangar in a MK II but I prefer my MK II for exploration. Can you compare n list out the AX builds for both? I want boost n jumprange on both maxed if it can be done but i don’t have the knowledge.

@@avasasiuu3530 Thank you. I did go through it but I do not have Guardian grind completed other than fad booster. That's the biggest issue which I face... no Guardian gear... and I do not understand what Cold Build is? Is this an Engineering issue? I am assuming it is and do not understand how to do this. I do have most Engineers unlocked but I really do not understand the process of their use other than for longer jump range.

This ship does make Sense in Lore as all spaceship companies Had to make an ax ship and lakon took what they Had (glorius spacebricks) and some Hit some missed

The other great thing about the fas is when you fly with fas on its turn rate is faster at full throttle. Imagine my suprise when fighting against a imp cor? Cour? The small Imp. Ship I was out turning an elit cmdr. with ease. Knocked out his drives then let him go to tell the imps. Don't try none won't get none.
