Okay, looking back on this video I've noticed something. After owning several Elaut cranes to this point, this particular claw is actually self repaired by someone, in which they aren't typically wired like that. They are supposed to have a coil PCB that goes on the top, right below the cap, which connects the two wires which are supposed to be glued to the side wall to prevent any unwanted contact. The reason that the middle plunger kept hitting the wires isn't due to a design flaw, its whoever originally tried to fix it, tried to make it work without the coil PCB and they tried to DIY it themselves by soldering them to the housing instead.

Hi, do you ever give advice to people like me who have a rainbow toy house grab machine that's stopped working. I've had it for years but it has finally given up on me. I've done all the obvious like removing all blocking coins and notes but nothing works. The coins drop straight through and the notes box is off in red. Tried rebooting it and cleaning and then that's the extent of my knowledge. Any hints would be great. Code was 2.2. but now it's changed. IT changes each time I turn it on and off I thing

Hi, I am looking for a stabilizer bearing for the motor shaft in a McGregor Silver Falls Coin Pusher. The Motor is a "Merkle Korff 3715UP". The motor still works but that bearing is worn out and needs to be replaced. Do you know where I might be able to get one, or a replacement motor that will work in the machine? I use to do this all the time back in the 80's at video arcades. But the way I did it was not to try and get the quarter back, but to rack up a lot of credits by tickling the credit switch. Instead of using a string and drilling a hole in to the quarter, I would use a really thin fishing line and super glue it to the edge of the quarter. That way, after racking up a shitload of credits on the machine by pulling the line in and out and hitting the credit switch. I could then pull the fishing line out and it would break off the quarter and the quarter would then drop into the coin box with no tall tale sign of being mess with. BTW: coin mechs in gaming machine are far less secure the those on vending machines. I have never seen the string trick work in a vending machine before.
