my last name is also podgorski, and i also have relatives in the usa. she might be one of my relatives wich is very crazy if she is married with a black male who is in the military and has kids with him, she is defenatly one of my relatives

Don't dub Sofronio Vasquez as Filipino-American, at least not yet. A Filipino-American is a US citizen. Sofronio Vasquez is NOT YET a US citizen. He's a Filipino with a status of Permanent Resident, popularly known as a green card-holder. If reports are correct he's had that status for like 2 years. It takes at least 5 years as Permanent Resident before one may apply for US citizenship. Yet, that is optional. Many Filipinos finally opt for US citizenship after as long as 20 years, some not at all. So, let's not be loose with categories. For now, Sofronio Vasquez, if we go by USCIS rules, is still a Filipino, NOT Filipino-American.

This is the most substantial interview/conversations I have followed with Sofronio. I wish Sofronio will keep using the English language in every interview because the whole world is now following you. Sure you are proud to be Pinoy. Now you are not exclusively belong to Pinoys. You are given the opportunity to crack the barrier in international stage and USA had embraced you and made you the The Voice 26 season Winner. Use it ! While I'm glad for her heart, soul and sanity that she didn't go the Nashville solo route, she really is the only one of them for whom that could be a feasible option. She has the strongest voice, by far. She's telegenic, in a professional singer kind of a way. Even her melodic choices, in combination with the way she carries herself, all scream marketable talent. I'd like to see more solos by her, as many as possible without harming the group dynamic. Her fellow members all have nice voices, very pleasant. She has a powerhouse voice, like someone who is regularly in the Top 10. She's that good. It's a shame her Idol audition was marred by a bad song choice (yodeling!) and judges acting the fool about it. She could have come in there with Crazy or Walkin' After Midnight and eventually walked off with the whole thing.

The Haygoods are in Branson. The danger to us fans is that Ellen leaves the best family band in the word for her husband's all sizzle, where's the music, family show. I am a retired circus performer so I very much approve of wardrobe, lights, special effects and presentation. They make the difference between boring and death defying. Between practice and a show. BUT Music especially bluegrass, gospel, and country is about the music. Anything else is a distraction. I would not pay to see the Haygoods unless no other music was available. If i ever get the chance, I will MAKE a way to see the Petersens.

You better support your band. Any member missing would greatly diminish the quality of the band. Replacing you is not the same as family.
