I went to your website. Is it $210 to have boots resoled? Or is that the price of a pair of resoled boots?

In your opinion, what is the best built cowboy work type boot for us regular folks?
@Theshoeman02
@Theshoeman02 2 күн бұрын
@@Bscott-390 the boot I see the least is Double H. They make a great boot for style and work. They obviously have different lines of boots at different prices, so just remember you get what you pay for. And I understand not everyone has $300-$500 for a pair of boots, but when you take into consideration how many pairs of $100-$200 boots people go through really fast. Buying the $500 boot will end up saving them money because they last 2-3 times longer than the cheaper boot, and resoles are cheaper than buying another boot.

So you need to resole whole boot and throw away almost unworn and pretty good sole, just because few stitches got grinded off? And they got grinned of, because they are protruding above the sole at firs place. And no one is talking about what bullshit construction this is????

@@Theshoeman02 Thank you so much for your quick reply. I have a new pair of Red Stingray cowboy(girl) boots that I will use for actually riding and showing horses. In the equestrian world, we don't use any footwear with rubber soles. Rubber soles make a person conduct some sort of static, and if you zap your horse every time you touch him, it makes for a very skittish horse. 😵😂 I want someone to make thick red leather soles where the leather isn't just dyed on the surface but is red throughout. It will also preserve the current leather soles, and if I wear through them, the added protective red layer can be removed and replaced while preserving the original leather sole. So, that is how I came upon your video because I was looking for red leather soles for my boots. Again, Thank you for your expertise and reply.

ALLWAYS leather soles + rubber halfsoles for me! most durable AND most repairable! also looks great imo. rubber is softer and more durable in terms of abrasion, yes. however leather has way stronger seams due to its higher tear strength and it forms to your foot... it creates a super strong unit with the welt and upper! so combine the two and get the best of both!!

I’ve heard people say leather soles breathe more, are more flexible, and more comfortable under foot. What do you think?
@Theshoeman02
@Theshoeman02 8 күн бұрын
@@lukefall5772 I could agree that leather breathes more, but as for comfort I always side with rubber since it gives more that leather. Leather will form to your foot over time which is why I recommend doing the leather midsole with a rubber outsole
