Appreciated getting so much of your thoughts at the end here - it did seem like there was less interesting going on with the fighting of regular enemies and bosses compared to the first game. I share your perspective about what was going on with the story: I think Senua's friends were real and this is the next stage in her journey, finding people and figuring out what she'd do to protect them. About the giants, the first two certainly seemed real enough but the reveal at the end with Aleifir that there was no giant does cast the previous ones in a different light. Right now I feel like the hiddenfolk were real and thus so were the giants, just hard to say for sure since Senua's got a lot going on within her mind.

Honestly, I feel like "Exdeath" is one of those mistranslations that just stuck for some reason, because I'm fairly certain the intended name was "Exodus." So if they could correct "Aeris" to "Aerith," I think this should've followed suit. Guess it's just too late for that now.

I havent played the pixel remaster edition, ive grinded to max job level on every class for every character at least twice in my life on 1x ap, i think one of those times i used an emulator to fast forward grinding though All hail modern game convenience, if i was in your twitch chat i would vote to allow bunnytails to use 4x ap rate, job farming should be easy, 2x ap is good enough i suppose

FFV is certainly closer to FFIV than FFVI. FFVI was able to lift the series on new level with very deep characters and richer world in general, while FFV feels a bit duller character wise than FFIV, but is clear upgrade with abilities and skills you can utilize. I have never really been able to pick up FFV for some reason, I have started and dropped it, few times, I am happy to finally watch it like this.

MONSTERS!👹 By the Escape from the Castle you can learn a few Blue Magic Spells. Aero and Aera from the Gigas and Death Claw from Iron Claw. It is possible to steal Elixiers from the Gigas.

This is such a strong sequel to the first game. The added dimension of Senua interacting with several other people is a great plus. The voices tell her that she's bringing death wherever she goes, but death was already there before she arrived and only Senua, supported by these new allies, can help.
