It's funny if grown up adults still believe in these fairytales. I guess childhood indoctrination is strong.

Religious people aren't stupid. What they have done is chosen to believe the lies of organized religion and given up their self determination by entering into a "control system" cleverly disguised as a "belief system". It protects their oppressors from being attacked by the oppressed because killing is a sin.....unless "God" tells us to kill, then its A-O-K! The belief in a deity who stopped checking in with us publicly a few thousand years ago simply doesn't hold water. An omnipotent, immortal, loving and merciful deity standing by and doing nothing as their "children" suffer the unspeakable horrors of never-ending war, crime, parasites, accidents and disease. Every second of every day people are suffering and dying in a chorus of screams that have echoed through eternity. No, they are not stupid, but they have turned off their critical thinking abilities when it comes to the really BIG lie. Fortunately, their numbers are dwindling as more people awaken to the biggest, most uncomfortable truth of them all......there is no personal "God" watching over us and answering our prayers. If there were torture wouldn't be a thing, but it is. Pedophilic priests wouldn't be a thing, but they are. Rape and sodomy wouldn't be things, but they are. Unless, of course, "God" isn't a loving or merciful "God"at all. That seems to fit the evidence much better wouldn't you say? Want to free your mind and understand what the Bible really is? right... 1 Corinthians 12 v 13 we are baptized into the one body. and He is the Savior of the body. So we are not in the body He will save unless we are baptized. baptized for the forgiveness of sins, baptized into the one body. 1 Cor 12 v13 , baptized into His death. Rom 6 v 3-4. NOT a outward sign of a inward feeling.
