How durable are these ? I’m a welder / fabricator and I could use a pretty tough knife. I also live in Tennessee. I don’t believe they’re legal here. And how is the coating on them…

I saw your other comment asking about price, they’re MSRP is $100 but run about $70-80 for this model. Honestly I wouldn’t get one of these, or any other OTF knife really, for tough use. Get a lockback, compression lock, or just a fixed blade. Or a leatherman, I’ve used one of those for years for things it shouldn’t be used for and they hold up well. Also, as an aside, I absolutely cannot stand that Cobratec lies about being made in Texas. They are Chinese made generic automatic knives that are QC’d, MAYBE assembled, in Texas. The company is super dishonest about it and do their best to hide that fact.

cobra knife are junk, cheep they wholesale for $40 bucks that should tell you something customer service is very bad . they are assembled in Texas not made

Gotta have one. This is a company worthy of my attention. I have the big Larry 600 light. It’s literally the best work light I’ve used and I’m a professional mechanic so I’ve tried tons of brands like Snap-On, Mac All of the HarborFreight brands and most of the big box store brands.
