I'm convinced of a famous dj who I always suspected of copying every move lil louis does. When he said he hire a full orchestra, that same other artist made a full album using a live orchestra too which was close to the time Louis did it as I'm seeing the year Louis said he did that. That other artist is a copycat, but everyone thinks he's the best. He copied Lil Louis soulful style and never made tracks like louis does when that dj and his partner first started releasing music. That artist also copied Keri Chandler style and songs. They are biters! Louis is the original musician and plays all his music! Not hire them and put his name on it as the creator. ijs

To Darren's point, today the rap songs are sampling the Sample, some without the knowledge that the Jay-Z song they are rocking to, has sampled jazz, Roy Ayers records, funk breaks. School needs to be in session to teach and learn on both sides!

In any event, thx u for inviting N'dea on your show...she is one of the greatest of our time yet grossly underrated. She did a phenomenal job onTracie Spencer's 90s platinum selling 'Make the Difference' album as well as Madonna's 'I'm Breathless (Dick Tracy soundtrack) which is a wonderfully creative lil gem as well as her chart topping hit 'Vogue'. N'dea Davenport is a force... always have been ✌🏾🙏🏾

When I was a kid back in the 90s I was in love with Ndea LOL... I admired her as much as Sharon Bryant from Atlantic Starr/Newban. Now 30 years have passed and I still feel the same admiration.. so pure and soulful. Her music is timeless
