Yeah so producing fruit comes as a byproduct of having the Holy Spirit inside us because it will convict us and do good work through us. Once you realize that we naturally have a sinful nature and are nothing without God you realize that you need a savior. This savior is Jesus and by believing in his finished work you get the helper which is the Holy Spirit which is literally God inside of us and bearing fruit through us. So don’t focus on doing good works but know that the more you grow in your faith and grow your relationship with God the more you will bear fruit because of who lives inside you through your faith.

Aye brother I’m so happy for you and I will say for counting the days. Don’t because if you fall it’s going to make you feel like a failure I used to brother, God doesn’t expect us to be perfect but he wants us to keep seeking him and growing in our faith. The more you seek Jesus the more you’ll lose the desire to lust until you eventually forget about it. Truly believe Jesus has freed you from it and you’ll be free forever

I read all my comments and I got you. Being Spirit minded is listening to the Holy Spirit and valuing the word of God everything including your own thoughts. Being flesh minded is trusting your own thoughts over the word of God because in the bible it tells us we are born into sin and that we naturally are evil. This is why Jesus tells us to deny ourselves and take up our cross to follow him. We are saved by grace through faith by believing in the finished work of Christ. John 3:16, so are only goal should be to seeking to build our relationship with God everyday and he provides everything else we need along with some wants if he chooses to.
