I think its also fine if a hairdresser specialises in one texture hair. They will be more knowledgable on that particulair texture and it will attract clients accordingly.

Non human? Correction! Pivot Point mannequins such as the one you’re using is 100% human. They also have a code of ethics that is unmatched when it comes to the production of their units.

I am not a hairstylist . I am caring for my mom who has dementia & refuses to enter a hair salon , she allows me to cut & style her hair , I followed this tutorial because this looks most like a style she’s had at different periods in her life going back to the 80’s . Your instruction was super easy to follow , almost fool proof . Cut & style looks amazing , thank you so much !!

Using the primer after the color I wasn’t sure about that. So just a light shampoo just one after color service? So excited for this product.

I would feel guilty if I had to tell them I need to get to the next client. Meditation helps. That workbook called 30 Days to Overcome Guilt by Harper Daniels was helpful for me. I had a guilt complex with clients.

40 year career as a hair stylist. I have even educated(way younger) for Clairol for a couple years. I have been educated by many stylists in my time. And I learned to cut hair with kitchen shears, which was great for fine hair! Also, I learned how to roll perms using; cotton balls, nautical rope, shower curtain rings and sewing bobbins. I actually got known for the nautical rope perming, back in the early 90s. Increased my income, because of it. Don’t ever think you know it all. And never forget It’s all about the performance.

You never lighten the nape, shortest, most vulnerable delicate hair. Always leave that out. Where is the final result to show the movement how the hair falls? Hmm … 🤨
