Hey. They fit great for me. No issues with seams or chafing. Quite comfortable and true to size.

What size tires were you running? Thinking of riding this on my Checkpoint this year with 40s - would I regret that?
@philcupper
@philcupper Жыл бұрын
40s would be just fine. I'm pretty sure I was running 38s this ride. My go to mixed terrain tire was a WTB Nano in size 40 for awhile. One got an unrepairable hole though and picked up something else locally for this trip.

Hey. Thanks for the comment. Was running WTB Riddler 38s I believe. Worked well. Nothing too technical really.

Stumbled on your video…I was pretty skeptical on the china stuff as well until I tried Monton Sports. I was super surprised on their quality and style for the money you pay. I’ve heard good things about the black bibs however looking at their pics it seems their products are a little unfinished or unrefined if that makes sense.
@philcupper
@philcupper 2 жыл бұрын
Not sure what pictures you’ve seen. In my experience the quality is as good or better than many higher priced brands. I have put lots of mileage on several pair and have had zero quality issues.

Hello, would you say the chamois rides too far back? Saw some other comparison videos about it. Also would you say they are true fit? I’m looking for fit or snug. I’m in between XS and small but my height is in the medium range.
@philcupper
@philcupper 2 жыл бұрын
In my opinion the chamois is right where it needs to be. If you’re hight says medium but you’re really lean, the small would probably work. If you want a tighter fit, the Plus version with the bands around the bottom would be more secure than the basic pair. Hope they work for you.
@samuraioodon
@samuraioodon 2 жыл бұрын
@@philcupper thank you. I was looking at the ultimate bib. I'm right in the xs markings actually. But chest is on larger size of xs yes I'm pretty thin. Only 130lbs and 69 in tall. I think the ultimate is more comfortable but I have no idea. I want a bib mainly for ultra distant riding, backpacking and gravel racing.
@philcupper

@@samuraioodon the ultimate bibs are the best bikepacking bibs I’ve used. Extra pockets come in handy as well.

I am so proud to know this amazing kid. His art is beautiful, and sometimes really insightful and funny. It brings me to tears with pride that Robert and his family have found an outlet for him. Completely independent of how art influences HIM, his art is fundamentally interesting and cool all on its own. I can't wait to see what he does next!
