There is not Force Reaction in the Z direction. Would you please clarify as of where you have seen it?

When i am doing in ansys workbench same think will be happening in shear force diagram for all simply supported problem positive side will be in negative side negative side in positive side . Is there is any solution to overcome the problem sir Reply
@DrFadyBarsoum Жыл бұрын
Not that I know of. Please remember that this is a convention and some disciplines like civil engineering have their own for good reasons.

Why the direction of f1 and f2 are in same direction?
@DrFadyBarsoum Жыл бұрын
They are both assumed in the positive x-direction, but upon calculating them you will find that they have to be in opposite directions and have the same magnitude.

How to apply simply support in 3D beam plz tell....
@DrFadyBarsoum3 жыл бұрын
You cannot apply a simple support on a 3D model. However, you can still get similar behavior. Please keep in mind that all these are mathematical idealizations to capture the behavior of a beam.
