Currently running s3 punk pegs in the most lower, they don’t pack up w mud and they are big. Hi, I see that you drive Gas Gas TPI and Sherco and I'm thinking about changing TPI to Sherco. How do you rate both hard enduro motorcycles?
@dylanmays902410 ай бұрын
That is my buddie on the gas gas. Me personally I wanted to stay with the carburetor. I have been doing hard enduro on my 250 and I can’t say nothing about the sherco that holds me back from doing what the tpi bikes can also do.
@scottdrew640310 ай бұрын
The bike sounds very dialed in fuel wise. A calm cool collected tractor. I have a ktm 500 set up for hard enduro right now with an upgraded ECU and 13/52 gearing for the woods. It’s an absolute tractor. It’s also very calm and quiet. It doesn’t take much throttle to pull the largest riders up anything. I’m really tempted to get a 300 to truly experience the ultimate woods machine. I’m 36 years old, not getting any younger. I’m gonna get something this summer I think.
@dylanmays902410 ай бұрын
It has warmed up some so i did make some jetting changes since then. Ride one if you get a chance. I have a 250 with about 160 hours. Hardly any issues. It has treated me well for enduro so I’ll keep riding it for that. The 300 is just easier to ride for me on the track you just have to keep it steady. Eventually I’ll move it over for enduro I just hate to see a new bike get tore up on 1 ride lol.

Since you have tried myriads of needles and jets for the carburettor, I recommend this configuration: 1) spring, autumn and winter: Suzuki NECW needle at the third notch with minimum jet 42 and maximum jet 162 or 165 2) summer: Suzuki NECJ needle at the third notch with minimum jet 42 and maximum jet 162 or 165.
