I'm obsessed with Resurrection and Prometheus. Both movies explore 'genetic manipulation', the benefits, the risks, the ethics ... there is nothing new under the sun, there are only a few things left we didn't fully discover and we definitely shouldn't go down certain paths - but that's why we need these fictional stories as a warning.

In these kind of films where there's a lot of production involved you see how small actually is the role of the actors. There's such a big role that the director and all the teams - art and costume etc put into it but after the movie is released all you see in the Oscars are actors dressed up really fancy and get all the stage while the people whose genius and creativity made the movie are left in the dark.

Amazing. It's just a shame that all this work is done for a movie that will run a few weeks and then forgotten. This kind of creativity should be harnessed for more important projects, I feel.

Oh my goodness... so much work and time and money and geniusness went into creating this movie. On the one had the result is WOW, on the other hand I can't not think of so many maybe more worthy things these creative and intelligent people could have done with that money and time and creativity.

First.

Ridley did a good job this movie re-creating the original vibe and eerie feeling i got from the first movie when they went aboard the alien craft. The strange holograms of the history and the overall history and origin of the spaceship from the original is captured here along with great music and he opens up many new stories and avenues for the place that the xenomorph came from.
