Back in 2019 after I graduated high school I 1st heard this song it brought back some nostalgia & took me 2 a while other world of fantasy. Since then I’ve listened 2 several of Crooked Still’s songs, found other artists that play similar music, & made several playlists. 💯

I like how they take a song and put their style to it .their unique twist to a song all comes together and make the songs what they are .that's what made them what they were. CROOKED STILL All great musicians

I thought Molly looked a bit wasted at the beginning, no harm in that. Love her music.

I enjoy listening to a younger simpler molly Tuttle and what happened to the in-between timing of clever Eric Robertson loved his semi untraditional mandaline style

These guys are so cool. That lead singer, what a voice. My bluegrassy gals I hang with think he's a babe. Wish they'd be gettin' back to us. So many songs that work. They just do.

This is a really great group. I agree with some of the commenters that the cello playing of Natalie Haas is really excellent. What a wonderful performance!

Josh Williams your group would make the older bluegrass band the Country Gentleman Charlie Waller, Eddie Adcock, John Duffy and Ed Farris think they were looking in a mirror. Great Job.

I've recently been interested in folk music. This song to me tells of family, sweethearts, labor and fun.

I really love how this lady will look so serious and focused and then suddenly break into that great smile, which seems to light up the entire room. It just highlights how much she just seems to enjoy making music for the pure joy of just making music!

I grew up with Richard in suburban CT. All of us kids were in rock bands, but we were slowly turning on to the old country guitar masters. Richard didn't play at all, but then I heard that he suddenly started picking around the middle of high school, and he wouldn't stop practicing for anything. The story passed around was that he stopped going to school and would sneak back into his own house after his parents left for work ....etc. His close friends would tell these stories at our rock band practices and everybody would just chuckle. Then, a few months later, they would show up at practice and talk about what an absolutely amazing player the guy was turning into. I didn't see him for about a year, and his playing was legendary by that time. After our high school years, we'd hear updates about working at the Martin factory and playing here and there. When i think of a kid just falling under the spell of playing an instrument, I always think of Rick Starkey.
