Nice Half Shawn! i actually did the marathon but i hit the wall at mile 18.......last 2 myrtle beach marathons i hit wall at mile 18 and lost my average pace speed by end. Is it just me or does it seem like myrtle beach race day is ALWAYS muggy and humid and warm. I think im gonna stick to the half marathon next year, im just a way better runner at the half, i have tried the marathon over and over and my body always breaks down after mile 18-19. Nice 1 37 half! how many days a week do you run?

I grew up in the Hudson Valley hiking some of it, and and biking it extensively. Unfortunately, I never rode this trail before I moved to Florida. Maybe on my next visit north. So thanks for sharing the ride and the badass music too, Shawn!

Looks like a Wren. Most common are House Wrens and Carolina Wrens. Note the long bill, as they are insect eaters... We used to put up a house my Dad built every Spring for "Sven the Wren", but they stopped coming one year.(Catskills) I believe that the offspring come back to the place of their birth to raise their young. Maybe something happened... Great having them right in your window box !!!! They are noisy buggers , with a great scold when they are annoyed.... Birds are cool, enjoy yours....

Where is this Great Swamp located? I live in Rhode Island and we also have a Great Swamp management area. Ours is known as a historical area from the King Philip’s War, also called the Great Narragansett War, (1675-76), in British American colonial history , war that pitted the Narragansett Native American tribe against English settlers and their Indian allies that was one of the bloodiest conflicts (per capita) in U.S. history. There was a Massacre done by the British colonist. Also, which Wilderness System kayak are you using?

I've watched several of your videos. They are a great way to preview a trail before making a long drive to get there. My wife and I are new to this having just bought a pair of eBikes. One of the things I am having the most trouble with is finding the best places for parking, bathrooms, and food along the trails. I've been using Google maps but it's tedious process and even google does not have all of this information. Any suggestions for a good source? Thanks again

Do you have to travel far to ride the Dutchess, Maybrook, Hudson Valley, Wallkill RTs? I live in LaGrange, smack in the middle of all of them. I'll be doing the Maybrook (10 minutes away from my house) Hopewell Jct. to Whaley Lake tomorrow. Always a pleasure to watch your vids.
