That's the omega symbol. Not an animal print as you say nor a horse shoe like I would have expected you to say. You went beyond wrong and into la-la land lol.

Think you're wrong there, it's labelled "A peculiar foot print" and the examine text says "The shape of this foot print must have belonged to a mythical animal...", it makes much more sense for it to be a horse reference

I could see voting no on hypothetical cosmetics that detract from the aesthetics of OSRS and/or muddle item identification for PVP and such. Like if a cosmetic looked too similar to a different weapon to trick people, or if it just didn’t fit the games themes and was some kind of meme or tie-in, like if prims could look like Nikes or something. I know that sounds silly but remember Fortnite used to be a co-op zombie game, live service always runs the risk of losing the soul of the original game over time

I remember them polling what were basically POH ads some years ago where they'd get sponsored to put company logos or the likes as POH decorations, but that was voted into the ground, I'm assuming they won't try that again. PVP situation didn't even cross my mind, could definitely be a concern (though i don't think it is for these specific cosmetics)

One time when I was 8 I was at the duel arena and I didnt know what pures were and there was a level 65 pure and i was level 80 something and he offered to duel me for my guthix full helm which was like 150k. thinking he was just a noob i thought it would be easy money til he ice blitzed me in my full granite to death. i cried for about 15 minutes til my mom got on there and started asking him to give it back because i was only 8 and i didnt know what i was doing. the guy replied that he would make me think i won it from him if i staked my granite maul and my mom thought he was nice until he ice blitzed me again for my gmaul and i cried to sleep that night.
