Hi great video! I just happened to stumble upon it. The dealer changed my oil cooler last year and I feel like my oil temp runs hotter now. I'm not sure why. When I'm on the highway doing 70-75 my oil temp goes to 226. Before the replacement I don't think it ever went above 212. Is it just me? What is the temp on your jeep at highway speeds? Thank you!

I was just wondering if you saw any way for oil to get into the coolant. Obviously the oil pressure is higher than the coolant pressure so I presume it will get by the rubber gaskets. They look pretty much identical to the 3.6l gas housing huh?
@carnage4x4
@carnage4x4 4 ай бұрын
I did a bunch of research before replacing the cooler instead of just the hose. They supposedly have issues with the coolant getting into the oil which is why we replaced it. The cooler works great where it is. The biggest issue we had was the locker wiring was getting shorted to the frame due to the larger pitman arm. So the lockers would just quit on the trail and blow the fuse until I figured it out. Insure you rout it a different way if you have a Rubicon.
