I've been thinking of doing something similar! I used to be a purely physical reader, but I read so much more digitally now. So there's no point buying physical unread books just to get them on kindle/audio as well. Once I read down my physical tbr a bit, I'm going to start buying more digitally first, and only buying physical favorites.

I love what you do with your books!! Reading first on kindle and buying a physical copy for your trophy shelf is genius. Our shelves are such a reflection of us as people, so excited for you to continue your series (great name too)!

@ I was looking through the older videos that you still have. I could not find the one with the comment where my best friend and I were having a joke about the Halloween decorations. It was the one where I said just don’t hang it in your room at night. Which was the skeleton decoration. If it is gone, I can retell the joke if you like

I’m glad you enjoyed it! The only book I’ve read from this haul is Monsters- it was very dark and weird, made me feel quite uncomfortable 😅 My favourite genre isn’t definitely creepy, dark YA books. My favourite book is House of Hollow xx

Ohhh DOSAB is my teen sentimental fave but I definitely cannot say if it still holds up today or if I would still even like it. Im totally with you though that I struggle with both YA and romance individually...put them together and it's like my worst nightmare LOL 😆 Yessss I really enjoyed the small spaces series, if you like spooky middle grade I think you'll really like it!

I never reread my teen favourites, I like leaving them on an undeserved pedestal 😂 I have the first two Small Spaces books, can I read them as standalones or is it one plot over 4 books? I’ve been putting off reading them as I don’t want to commit to 4 books right now 😬❤️

@@Thebookforest YESS "leave them on an undeserved pedestal" that's hilarious, and I totally agree!! Okay so it does go in order, like you would definitely be confused if you read them out of order....but to be totally honest my favorite one was the first one and I think it could have been left there at a stand alone (because it wraps up cleanly and just was the best overall...so if you only have time to get to one I definitely think you won't be disappointed by the first book!)

I really want to check out juniper and thorn, it sounds really good! That's so interesting about CJ Tudor I had really similar thoughts to the one from her I've read, the drift , where there were WAYYY too many characters it was ridiculous!!
