Maybe they adopted bc he moved out and they were missing having more children in the house. Rain can raise the child even they pass. I like it throws a curveball in the plan.

Shoutout to Hazel for asking for parenting tips to her 18 years old child. xD I just LOVE how the game throws in those savage plot twists. It might not be the ideal way to cope with an empty nest, but who are we to judge? xD It would be lovely to keep Emory and give them a makeover! They could continue living with Rain after their moms' death, or perhaps move in with Christopher and his family. Also, if you want to change the neighborhood stories for just a single household, you should click on the green button for that specific family, the one next to the heart button. I think you disabled having/adopting children for all your active families, not just Hazel and Jane's. Regarding Laura, omg, that started really well! I think they’re a good match since both are romantic (and River likes idealistic sims), but maybe that means they’re not that serious, and one of them might end up cheating on the other. It would be funny to have River dating sims with opposite traits to him, and maybe that’s why he keeps breaking up and moving on to the next relationship. As always, great chapter! 🥰

The build is so pretty and matches so well with the debug building!! The pink/coral apartment is my favorite, i'm happy we will see more of it because River will live in it! 💕

I love it! I also did a house based off this debug house (and another one based off a different debug house). My layout is completely different and I think also smaller, but I went all out with the furniture so the rent is really high. I filled it with indoor (and outdoor) plants. I put it on the lot you were wondering what to do with along with three other houses as part of a rental complex. I'm also thinking of building a landlord's home cuz there's still some space leftover.
