I met Jon Stevens around the time he sang for INXS for a short stint. He was a genuinely nice guy. Sorry my story isn't more interesting... that's all I've got.

I swear his talking voice and singing voice are so different, if I closed my eyes and listened to the voice talking I would never think it was Jimmy ❤❤❤❤❤❤

The NRL would be better of selling our show case game to the Australian public with Australian music as our music is as good if not better then anything in the world 🤗

Wow, probably one of the best music variety shows EVER. Artists from all over the world making their way to Australia just to appear on OUR COUNTDOWN Incredible.🎉 Not forgetting all the Aussie talent that was launched on to the world music scene. PHENFKNOMINAL.

Came here after watching the 50 year thing which was not really what I was expecting. This anniversary is far closer to what I was hoping for. Not going to lie, its a bit depressing seeing how old they all are now, too much after watching Tyson shuffle about biting his boxing gloves.

Hey, thanks heaps for putting this up. They were so good live. These were the days when you had to be good live. Selina's gig too! 1987! Times when Sydney was genuienly exctiting. I love watching this but I'm sad at the same time because we can only reminisce about how good it once was and how sterlie and cold everything is today. Cheers to everyone in Sydney who remembers how amazing it was.

Absolutely if you were in Sydney or anywhere around that time and you got to see bands it was just an awesome night and those times sadly are gone forever

I was 21 in '87, looked a bit like JS, same build, same complexion, same mullet lol, and I could sing a bit, but I didn't have the guts to try a musical career. But man, I used to BELT out Burning Felling every time I played the album on tape in my car! Woohoo!
@aldunlop46226 ай бұрын
Noiseworks should've been a much more successful band and even gone to the US, but apparently the guitar player didn't want to make pop music and they broke up. Such a shame.
