I love that parental advice "Don't add to the population, don't subtract from the population, and don't get thrown in jail". Good advice to young people.

Have started to watch this show religiously - quick question - When Lance shows the chart with MACD buy and sell signals what is the time frame he is using on his chart for this ??
@jameshearttech7 сағат бұрын
1D timeframe usually. On occasion he'll talk about higher time frames (1W, 1M).

I started 401k with 1%, then next year 2.5%. I found that I did not miss the money. So over time, now am at 23%.

S&P Index and 30 years is a beautiful thing. I’d like to take this time to thank my first manager Jimmy Haltom from Louisiana,, where ever you are sir, thank you for the advice to start the 401 being offered to me and fund at least to match the company matching amount. The raises go into K until maxx’d.

I agree with Lance on the Apple buy backs versus expanding. I would add this is probably one of the reasons Buffett is selling so much Apple stock, because Buffett does not support Share BuyBacks when the market is already at or near all time highs. I think Buffett is trying to make a statement, if the Apple CEOs want to make poor decisions, buying back to improve bonuses, they have to trade against Buffett selling.
@moskalimayutpozdyhaty9 сағат бұрын
I suspect Apple is doing buybacks this year so Buffet can get out without dropping $AAPL on the floor

Election shenanigans have already started in Pa. where they told people waiting in line at a polling location to go home early at like 1:40 PM and they are supposed to be able to vote as long as they were in line by 4:30.

Thanks for the brief discussion on intrensic value of a company. I was wondering if you can go a little bit more in depth on the basic fundamentals of a few companies similar to your basic techincal analysis that was discussed on your previous pod cast. (example: differences in value vs. growth vs. dividends stocks)
