Howdy Mike. Man, trees can get out of hand in a hurry. It will be nice to be able to keep that mowed down. I thought about converting my WD45 to electronic a few years ago but I never did. I'm kind of leery of them because of bad experiences my uncles had with them several years ago. But, I know people who have had good luck with them too, so who knows. Thanks for sharing, Mike! I hope you have a good weekend

Ken, I believe that post vise will be a great asset in time. The rosebud torch is just about out of acetylene, when the ground freezes good, and the wind goes down, going to move a bunch of stuff around with the 6080. Tanks are open that list.

Howdy Mike. I've had to do quite a bit of patching on decks for our simplicitys. I think the 42" deck that was on Dad's old mower was about 2/3 deck and 1/3 patch by the time we finally scrapped it. I don't sharpen my blades often enough, and when I do it takes a lot of grinding to get them usable again. Deer processing party! Thanks for sharing, Mike!

Like your portable vise, they sure are handy. Mine is a third generation handdown. It started out set in concrete at my Grandpa's farm where he started in '44, when he remodeled the buildings it came out of the concrete and he mounted it to a 6" pipe and welded the pipe to a 30's era International truck front wheel. When Grandpa sold his farm in '83, the vise came to my Dad's farm. After Dad passed in '98 it came to my place. If that vise could only talk, the stories it could tell, lol.

Howdy, Mike! I'm glad those lift links are finally freeing up. I hope that slat welds ok. I've really never tig welded. Would it be worth welding a piece on the back of that slat to reinforce the weld joint? It may not be worth the headache of welding more on hardened steel. That CA really sounds sweet! I think a C or a CA would make an awesome mower but I've got way too much crap to mow around and too many low trees to get under. That fuel tank cleaned up nice! Good idea on the heat gun, I'll have to try to remember that! That 3 bottom slat plow really looks nice, it must not have plowed a whole lot. The 4 bottom would look really cool behind a D17 but I bet it would be a load for one. The guy who bought my WD45 new pulled 4 14's with it, I think it would struggle with that load here. 3 14's seems like a better match for it, and I don't want to hurt it for no reason. I had a 3 16" plow for a couple years that was really nice but it was a larger frame model 80 plow so it didn't fit real well and it was so heavy I couldn't keep the front wheels on the ground unless I left the loader on. Nice way to clean a tank and get some work done in the process. The tank on my Oliver is rustier than I'd like. I put an in tank screen on the inlet for my sediment bowl and haven't had any trouble more trouble from rust. That's a nice 185, those are good sounding tractors. Thanks for sharing, Mike! I hope you have a good one!

I have a CA tank you can do next. lol. My son’s puller build has some nasty old gas and a little not a lot of surface rust.

It's really not too bad to do. My one CA tank had damage, pinholes. Tried to braze them up but never got them to seal, finally coated it with por 15. Like to have a better tank for it but CA tanks are hard to come by.

@ they are. This one has a dent but not really worth fixing due to going on a puller. I never tried that sealer.

@@justinblain928 The por 15v worked good, just follow the instructions to the letter. I don't coat unless really necessary. My tank could be fixed with body putty but I would prefer a nicer one, someday.

Hey Mike! My grandpa had one of those garden seeders. He had trouble pushing his so he tied a rope on the front and he would use a grandkid for pulling power. I don’t remember seeing it after he passed away, I don’t know what ever became of it. Really handy little planters. Thanks for sharing, Mike, that brought back some good memories. Hope you have a good one!

Glad you enjoyed it Evan. I'm getting caught up on the video I shot last spring now so things will slow down soon.

That little Cub runs like a sewing machine! It looks like you have a lot more fun using that tiller than I do with my old Troy Bilt. Thanks for sharing, Mike!

Thanks, that thing makes gardening so much easier it's hard to describe. I don't mind a little work but not going back to a walk-behind! If you remember from the equipment tour, have another No. 2. It will probably go on a 782 eventually. Have Dad's monkey wards in the shed, needs some work yet. Probably try to fix, then sell it! Man, looking forward to retirement, will attack the project list with a vengeance, when I'm not fishing!
