Great video! I have The Book of Doors reserved via my local library, mostly because of the cover and the title including the word 'book' 😂. I also loved Foster by Claire Keegan this year, so it definitely deserves to be in the top tier!

Thank you! The publisher is Vintage, and they make some very pretty but easy to handle classics ☺️ Any characters or subjects that you’re noticing in particular on your second time round? And did you annotate your copy the first time you read it?

While I don't find any of Austen's to be "forgettable"... Sense and Sensibility is probably the least memorable of her books.

That’s another one that I think people refer to as a struggle to read! After reading one book from each, (The Brothers Karamazov), I think Dostoyevsky likes to meander on philosophy, whereas Tolstoy likes to muse about politics.

@@covergirlbooks Oh, I very much have a like/hate relationship with my goal of finishing 6+ series that I only had one book left to read. There was one series I thought I had finished, but when I looked on GR afterwards, all of the books that had been considered part of the same world but not part of the series were now listed as part of the series 😡 meaning I had 6 more books to read (I've now read 2 of those, because I'm determined 😆) Thank goodness in this case they're graphic novels, but still.

Hmm, I’ll have to give that a try if I’m finding Hamnet tiresome 😁 thanks for the tip! I’ve been sitting on page 25 of book 2 in Mistborn for about 3 weeks, but I picked it up today and read through the end of Part 1. Gotta say the short chapters are smaaaart. I still feel a little distanced from the characters, feels like plot rules the world.
