@vincesettineriАй бұрын
Well thankfully we have a 19 mustang GT and with over 80,000 mi we have had no tick whatsoever however the 2018 especially the early cars did have a piston slap issue which sounds like an audible tick at times RP productions had a Gen 3 coyote and a mustang that had the issue if I remember correctly maybe worth checking out his channel and one of his old videos to get more information I'm sure Alex Flores has also cover this at some point as well and maybe able to provide more clarity thanks for watching

People who are just looking at HP/Liter to judge and engine don't know much about engines. A 6+ liter LS can fit under a Miata's hood and give the car a very good power to weight ratio, something a Coyote can't do. Viper won it's class in Le Mans and ruled GT racing during the late 90s and early 2000s against other cars that have better HP/Liter.
@vincesettineri2 ай бұрын
It's a fair point I mean the Honda S2000 is not very fast from the factory but it has a very high horsepower per liter so I can buy off of that plus especially naturally aspirated application in LS engine can make a lot of power generally more than a coyote if you're looking at an LS7 which will make 600 wheel whereas the coyote generally makes more than the fives definitely some truth to what you're saying thanks for your comment

I have a 17 Gen 2 and I absolutely love it.. The S197 Gen 1's were the cars that brought me back to even looking at Mustangs again.. Around 2012 I was big on Camaro SS's but the S550 came out and just looked perfect to me, It still had that older retro look but gave us just the right amount of Tech and improvements inside the car. Plus the IRS made the car feel so much better on track or just weaving in and out of traffic or taking turns you could really feel it.. Just make sure you put some IRS braces in just to reinforce the rear of the car though..

Enjoyed the video a lot. I've got a 2015 1LE with 20,200 miles. Just used it for work and back. Work place was only eight miles from home. It's white , black hood of course , installed larger Z28 rear spoiler , installed that plastic panel under the car's engine like the 2015 Z28 had for aerodynamics (and it also helps keep the bottom of the engine clean , like the alternator for instance ), Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3 tires (285-35-20 front , 305-35-20 rear) , pulled the fuse so the exhaust valves are always open , installed MUZZY'S SKIP-SHIFT ELIMINATOR so the computer won't force me from 1st gear into 4th when driving at parking lot speeds , retro fitted the cold air induction system of the 2015 Z28 with open air filter element , paint protection film on the front splitter , bumper , headlights , hood , front fenders , and side mirrors , 1LE badges or emblems just in front of the doors and rear trunk area . I've left the engine alone. Not into turbos or superchargers. Happy I don't have the DIRECT INJECTION that newer Camaros have. That sludge and carbon deposit buildup on the intake manifold and valves is something I don't have to worry about. And that TR 6060 transmission is the same one that the 2015 Z28 also had. Those red Brembo calipers are the cherry on top. Could not be happier with the car.
