Hello everyone, Thanks for the great update on creating mixed reality environments using Unreal Pixel Streaming! I've been using a similar service for my projects and it's been a game-changer, Vagon Streams. The ability to stream interactive content in real-time, especially on mobile devices, really opens up endless possibilities for training, sales, and digital twins. One thing I've found incredibly helpful is how seamless the setup process is, and the performance is always top-notch, even when accessing from different devices. It's exciting to see how powerful and flexible these streaming solutions can be. Looking forward to more updates from you!

This looks like its working great! Im actually trying to accomplish the reverse, by training a model for the rocket to reach a target. What's your thrust vectoring approach here?

Do you know if there is a wired or un-wired remote control to operate the zoom please?
@Stalled-wm3qd2 жыл бұрын
Found this on a review of the lens - "You can set up a Function button to activate the PZ, then use the rear controller arrows/wheel to zoom in and out." Really?

Try 30p-1/50 without all the extra steps. I have some theories about digital filming vs analog filming and why everything looks like crap nowadays. Part of it (and an important part you can change even sticking with low frame rates) is NOT uploading decimal (non-integer) frame rates to youtube. Also, NOT mis-matching them in an editing timeline. Mismatching a decimal rate in a true-rate timeline causes judder artifacts. Uploading decimal rates to youtube get re-encoded to true rates, which do the same (judder). Past that, since our shutters are now no longer rotary objects and digital sensors don't have moving film capturing the images, the 24p 180-deg shutter look can no longer be achieved with the same settings. All of the components are faster, more precise, and more "complete/instant" in their recording method. The only way to make LFR look as smooth on digital as it used to on film is to increase the frame rate and motion blur. To that effect, if you MUST film LFR (whether by preference or demand of say a customer, or because you wanna be cheap on storage space) I recommend 25p (true 25, not decimal) with a 1/40 shutter. This should look closer to the smoothness that 24p 180-deg on analog film cameras than just copying settings. It's also a much more versatile format than 24p or 23.98p. You can edit it down to 24 then re-encode to 23.98 for distribution to either of those sources if need be. And if it's going on a digital source such as youtube, you can leave it at 25p and enjoy the subconsious effect of that 1 extra frame and smoother motion blur straining your eyes less. On top of that, 25p 1/40 will work in ANY region without artificial lights flickering. Same with 30p 1/50, which is my personal recommendation (outside of 30p 1/40, lol) for general filming. 50p 1/60 will also work in ANY region if you want to do HFR with natural motion blur. And the reason I stray so far from the 180-deg shutter rule when doing HFR is because our eyes see 40-60 fps naturally in our day-to-day casual life, but our eyes _don't have shutters_ Anyway, in order to be sure your camera is shooting true frame-rate instead of decimal non-integer rates, either select TRUE 24, or 25 or whatever as opposed to 23.98, 29.97, 59.95 etc. (assuming your camera offers a difference) OR set it into PAL _mode_ regardless of your chosen rate. From what I've read and heard, cameras will shoot decimal in NTSC mode and true in PAL mode if they don't offer the option of choosing, yourself, between the decimal and true rates. Reportedly, this doesn't apply to PAL frame rates (25, 50, 100) in NTSC mode, but TBH, I wouldn't risk it, AND I would double check by uploading the "raw" MP4 file to my PC and checking the properties of it before editing to see whether it's a decimal or true rate file. Best of luck, however you decide to film. I hope you experiment even more than I've recommended. The worst thing somebody can do is blindly follow tradtion(24p is cinematic, everything else is soap-opera, and a 180-deg shutter is a rule), especially when circumstances change (analog to digital filming).

Did you have to custom code detecting the device's orientation in order to change the aspect ratio, or is that a toggle-able setting that I can enable for my Pixrl Stream?

Excellent video Mark. I've done similar with a Hero 5 session in the GW2X gimbal. This tracks quite well from my helmet but I'd like to move it to my shoulder. One observation I made was during a canter, there is a translation movement (heave up and down) that of course the gimbal can't compensate for. This doesn't directly cause a problem, but the Hero5 Session is very front heavy on the tilt axis and I can see in my footage that the gimbal is reacting to the camera's inertia in the tilt axis, so the heave manifests itself as small nods in tilt. I think a regular Hero form factor would improve this and yours seems to show less nodding than mine. A good experiment would be to try and balance the camera on the tilt axis. Thanks for making this video, there are so few videos about stabilized horseback video.

Thanks for the great video, but ive tried 6 different times and now, when i generate the mesh it automatically parents and the eyes appear put side the mesh. If i manually move them back the dont rotate from the center but rather rotate outside the mesh. I was making great progress, now i just want to give up, can anyone point me the dirstion of a fix? Thanks in advance
