Elsie is absolutely dope; such a wise, raw and invaluable voice in this world, at this time. The pain she and women like her have to endure is unfathomable; I can't even begin to understand where she finds the strength to tell her story and help so many find their voice and their purpose. You're always in our prayers and thoughts.

How soon should you get a PRA or go to court? As soon as the baby is born? Or wait longer?
@mamatalespodcast Жыл бұрын
From what I understand you can get a PRA once the child is here because at least there will be responsibilities to share. To make it binding, whatever agreement is reached between the parents (PRA) can be filled in court to make it actionable
@gracejonn4196 Жыл бұрын
@@mamatalespodcast thank you. What if the other parent is in a government institution eg jail rehab asylum etc. Can you still enforce a PRA and how will it favor you?
@ivykathungu9940 Жыл бұрын
Hello@@gracejonn4196 If the co-parent is in a mental facility, then its not possible to get into a PRA because the party lacks the mental capacity to do so. If the co-parent is in jail, it becomes difficult to operationalize the maintenance aspect of a PRA because the person is not earning.

This is such an important topic to discuss, and I think it's relevant to ALL parent setups, no matter their country, gender, number of kids, etc. Also on the off-chance that the giveaway is still open, let me throw my little one into the ring (not literally). A few weeks into the journey and we're still learning how to be mummy and baby, but he's the bundle, and I give the snuggles ;-)
@mamatalespodcast Жыл бұрын
Yeah, I think so too..we can all benefit from this information. Congrats on your little one..I know how difficult those first few weeks are.. all the best!🎊
