Great collection. One question, why did it took you four years to build a carrier?
@JJModelMaking2 күн бұрын
Thank you. Well, it wasn't four years of constant work, life and a pregnant wife got in the way

Great model kit, I’m still building Star Trek ships for the last 30 years, I just bought the Romulan D’Deridex in 1/1400 what a wait that has been, can’t wait to have that in my hands, almost 3 feet long, Will you build up your collection of Star Trek ships ?

How do you tell the difference between this and a D7. Or are they the same?
@Reindeer91118 күн бұрын
The D7 has a smooth main hull while the K'Tinga has all of the surface details that you see in this video and in the movie. Also the K'Tinga has a thicker rear deck with 2 prominent impulse drive engines whereas the D7 is thinner and has a single impulse drive located immediately below the shuttle bay. Basically the K'Tinga is to the D7 what the refit Enterprise is to the TOS version.

Many thanks for the video, not made a kit since I was 14 in 1965 and just been given a Dapol locomotive kit (awful instructions - exploded views look like 3D photos without 3D glasses!) for my 73rd birthday!

That ch-53e there…I worked on those in the marines. Mos 6113. I was stationed on the USS boxer for 6 months too. Does a model of that ship even exist? 3:31

All the comments on here “Book vs. Movie” Books are ALWAYS different from the movie-if adapted-if they weren’t you’d have 8/9/10 hour plus movies. No one, at least nowadays, could sit through a movie that long. That’s why back in the day they had intermissions built it…
