Pretty amazing! We just don't get enough days like that in PNW. But when we get 'em, oh man.... Curious if this was somewhere over by the employee housing run, or if it was coming down on the east side of the lot? Hard to make out.

Wonderful backcountry…….However, so sad to see so much burned forest. Leafless death holding no snow….
@ChristianHorton3 жыл бұрын
I like skiing in the burned trees, they are a lot different than most of the forests in the PNW

Thanks. Having my ski partner shoot some video to add in made for a nice mix of perspective.

@@ChristianHorton yes! It seems like anything some people like to help film and some are like no way. It makes a big difference for the viewers perspective too.

Was this the same day as the avalanche death? How did you guys assess?
@ChristianHorton3 жыл бұрын
No, that avalanche happened on the Saturday before and this was a Tuesday 3 days after. We followed the avy report and were looking mostly for wind slab, which we didn't find any. We assessed the conditions as we went and didn't find any signs of instability. That was definitely on our minds though since it was nearby and recent.
