Looks more like a 3 day pile at best. That said it did a decent job splitting some gnarly looking hardwood.

In an open fire maybe. That pile ended up lasting several weeks in a slow combustion fireplace, supplemented with some smaller bits here and there.

Hey@@chucknorris2952, this may be the case if you're wearing headphones/air pods on one ear. The audio should be fine if you're listening through any internal phone or PC speakers. However, we've adjusted our mics for future videos.

When you extract the old fluid from the master cylinder reservoir then add new fluid aren't you just adding air to the system unnecessarily? Given that you are adding new fluid on top of old in the lives anyway? Cheers
@TotalToolsG4Group
@TotalToolsG4Group Ай бұрын
Not really, you only get air into the system if you pump the brakes or suck through when the reservoir is empty. Lines are still full and sealed when you empty the reservoir. It's much better to clear out the old fluid to avoid contaminating the new fluid. Also, the process would be much longer if you had to draw through all of the old fluid as well.

Thanks for the demo, I still use an old 'Triton Super Jaws' with clamping jaws to suit gripping the wood. As you suggest it saves the back and a lot safer than cutting on the ground etc.

I've had my logdog 35ton for 5 years and it takes on anything you put through it. However you need to make sure debris doesnt pile up at the plinth end as the slotted holes in the bottom of the rails aren't large enough to clear debris. Another thing is the wedge gaurd is designed badly as it allows bark to jam up under the cyclinder on the return stroke which if not cleared regularly during splitting can push the cyclinder up risking bending the cyclinder rod and destroying seals
@TotalToolsG4Group
@TotalToolsG4Group 2 ай бұрын
Yes, we've noticed that happening after using the splitter a bit more after the video. Looking at other units on the market, they mostly seem to be a similar design. We've been regularly clearing both ends during use. In the meantime, we'll feed the info back to the manufacturer to see if they have any suggestions.

I just bought one of these on Amazon. It should be here tomorrow. I did not search KZbin for info on it. My Google searches were on how long brake fluid lasts. Yet this video with the two exact models I researched on the Amazon app shows up in my feed. They are tracking EVERYTHING you do.

So if you have a break down, do you still have to send it back to the factory? Other battery powered equipment have dealers that can fix you there and then, I lost a hell of business waiting to have two ego strimmers repalced, be careful if you depend on this company a living. Terrible customer support .
