note: I have an account in silver on EUNE and my main acc is plat , just promos. I decided to go from the depths of aram hell to SR because I kind of fell in love with gragas , if you play low elo like silver to plat 4 and even mid-"high"elo dia+-low masters,I think you always wanna go phase + precision legend haste and presence of mind at least on top lane. The idea here is that most games in solo queue are NOT pro play, the early game is always a shit fest and one wrong move from the enemy jg who ganks you or your jg who needs your help and your mana pool goes to shit and now you are left with a shitty wave and forced to back insta TP with only tear to get because jg decided to troll lv 4 at enemy gromp and you have to stop your laner from going there and getting a double buff so you just burn your mana on him. Basically gragas has a small wincon that is lost chapter, in my humble opinion, you wanna prioritize being able to get to lost chapter, if you can't get to lost chapter , you will have a bad time. It's like lv 6 kayle, before lv 6 you are not a champ with kayle , this is how gragas is without lost chapter.
