Yea I enjoyed toby Keith's songs several of them anyway and I Hate he passed away as he did but not only him but others have private or restricted grave sites for one reason or another but I personally just think it's bs they do that because they become famous from all the fans and rich from all the fans then when they die its like the fans get the middle finger like they're saying OK you made me rich and famous now that I'm dead you can piss off I think it's disrespectful to the fans that put them in their spotlight to begin with

He was a great guy and you right hes was with toby for 20 yrs , he was the best bass player , and a very sweet guy , i can imagine the reunion with him and Toby when he came to heaven and dont forget our beloved guitarist joey floyd who was with toby most of his career he was a great guy too man the reunion they all had when toby got to heaven .. we miss and love them all and i look forward to seeing them all again on day ..

My husband and I have our burial sites mere steps away from here. The consultant at the funeral home that we deal with confirmed that HE IS BURIED at Sunset Memorial Park.

So I’ve read through the comments and it’s basically people saying that either Toby Keith is definitely buried in that cemetery or Toby Keith is definitely not married in that cemetery. I could probably make a case for both. But for the people that say he is buried on his property how do they know that?

I’m not trying to be unkind but I am very sure that this is not Toby’s grave but a cenotaph. His widow said as such from what I understand. I get not knowing for sure but you shouldn’t be flat out saying that it is when there is so much speculation. Possible grave, yes. But I wouldn’t be going out posting misinformation when there is no proof that this is not a cenotaph. As for the sunken ground, it’s possible one of his guitars or something was buried there. And just because his family is buried there does not mean Toby is buried there. Saying “I know he’s here because his dad is” is not proof.

For all of you stating he is not buried there - he is. My husband and I have sites in this same cemetery mere steps from his gravesite. It may have been a ploy in order to have some form of privacy initially for the family, and to keep the "crazies" away (and rightfully so!), but he is. We were personally informed of this by the appropriate source(s). This is truly a BEAUTIFUL cemetery and his burial site is very fitting for such an amazing man.

Such a great, great man. While my daughter, an Army Combat Medic, was downrange during the Gulf War, he came & entertained. While my son in law (her husband) was in Iraq, Toby also came & entertained. My SIL (an Army Old Guard SSG) came back to Germany, where he & my daughter were stationed, he on leave then, she on maternityleave, I went & spent time with them in Heidelberg. He only had 3 more weeks downrange, & then they were both headed to DC. My daughter to the Pentagon, my SIL to Arlington. 2 wks later, I flew back to Frankfort with my SIL's Mom to bring his body back stateside. My daughter couldn't fly because she was 7.5 mos pregnant. We brought him back to the Iraqi Freedom Section there, and after the funeral, we played Toby's "American Soldier" because my SIL talked about how much that song meant to him when he saw Toby downrange. I've always loved Toby, even when he was much younger starting out, & thought the Country Music machine treated him terribly! We, tge fans, didn't care what THEY thought! Toby wasn't a perfect man, but none of us are! Toby was a True American Treasure! ❤️🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲❤️
