Those goannas are amazing. I spent 2 nights there 6months ago. The bird life was great too. At minyon falls not far from there the goannas got into a tent and some tubs a group had. They used their tales to bat the boxes until they either broke or opened. They used their claws to get it the rest of the way open. Plastic, bread, butter, chips etc were scattered everywhere. They had no fear. On those little bbqs a kookaburra dove down and stole my sausage. It was a bit too close. Love your content. I live in Lismore. It’s been great to see a lot of walks and camps not to far from home. ❤
@PerspectiveAustralia21 күн бұрын
That’s crazy about those goannas busting into the food! That would have been a sight. They were definitely not worried about us being there. The birds were gorgeous there. I really want to head back at some point in the cooler weather. That’s one cheeky Kookaburra you had there! Minyon Falls is gorgeous. We’ve stopped by there with some friends. There’s so much to explore in that area. Thanks for taking the time to share your stories, and for watching our channel 💚🌿

I love MRNP. The bird life is incredible. One night I heard four separate species of Owl calling which was amazing. On another trip a Lyre Bird was doing his thing just off the track. He must have known we were there but was loud and proud. I have done the Cascade Circuit. Ridge Walk and Winder Track a couple of times, but it is just a great place to chill and watch the passing parade.
@PerspectiveAustralia22 күн бұрын
It's certainly a wonderland for the birdlife. Thank you for sharing about your beautiful experiences there. I definitely want to go back to camp. I always find the quiet and still moments is when we see most wildlife; when we become part of the environment rather than moving through it. We have done the Ridge walk, but are yet to do the Winder Track. Araucaria Falls is also amazing.

The sounds of nature, Enjoyed ❤🤠🦘🦘🇦🇺🪱🪱🪱

I am in awe at your courage camping alone. Good on you Nicole…and it turned out to be such a beautiful experience. I enjoyed your video and it was lovely to see the wildlife, especially the koala. I believe it is a female because it has a white rump. I’m going to think about your beautiful green canoe and see if I can come up with a good suggestion… my mind is going down the path of Emerald something….but it also makes me think of a leaf a child might put in running water to watch how fast it goes , so maybe Leaf Drifter or the name Esmerelda popped into my head. By now she may have a great name.
@PerspectiveAustraliaАй бұрын
It was such a breakthrough moment for m. Thanks for watching and enjoying the moments with me. I had wondered about the light rump on the koala. I’ve learned something new! I love the visual story behind leaf drifter. Maybe I call her Drifter for short. It speaks of cruising into all sorts of new adventures💚
