Great video. I grew up in Inverell, a little down the road from there. Have spent many times picnicking, camping etc around there. Looking very much better maintained there now.

Cool! We came into the park from Ashford. It’s so beautifully maintained now. I think it may be after the floods that they revamped it all.

I haven't done this yet but it's on my list. I have been to quite a few rail trails in the last year but haven't edited them yet. Loved the Northern rivers rail trail, have you done that ? How did you get back to your car? I heard there is a mini bus you can catch
@PerspectiveAustralia15 күн бұрын
Editing can take a long time. I so understand that. It’s so fun though 🤩. I haven’t completed the Northern Rivers yet. Would love to though. I’m currently battling Achilles tendon issues. Hiking has taken a backseat for a bit until I can heal/strengthen. It’s driving me nuts 🤣🤣 Don collected me after hiking the rail trail. He was working on Frankenstein nearby.

Graet hike guys, ive not done it and now ive put it on the hiking list. I've only done the border track on Binna Burra side, but just stayed over at O'reilly's and chased waterfalls on that side.
@PerspectiveAustralia15 күн бұрын
Gosh, it’s pretty in those ancient rainforests. We’re still yet to explore the O’Reilly’s part thoroughly. We’ve done a few short walks there though. Thanks for taking the time to chat.

@PerspectiveAustralia20 күн бұрын
You’re so welcome 🙂. We just use our runners in creeks usually. At the moment they’re Under Armour ones at the moment. I have worn my leather boots before, but honestly runners dry out quickly and are much lighter on foot.

What a lovely camping trip guys. Weekends generally do mean a little camp side drama 😂😂 but that's just people, eh. Camping is always about slowing down a little, so a little late start is always better IMHO. Thanks for sharing this wonderful trip and the beautiful wildlife with us.

I’m learning that if I’m more still, the wildlife come to me. I’m a bit of a slow learner though. I like moving too much 😆. Yeah, lots of people about, but it was beautiful. I reckon mid-week, from Feb on would be a winner. Thanks for watching Sam ☺️💚🌿

Yeah, sometimes doing nothing is exactly what we need! The Achilles thing has kind of forced me to slow down for a bit, and it’s been a good thing really. Taking the time to breathe in these places is so rewarding. Thanks for always taking the time to comment. We love having you along with us 🙂

The sounds of the birds and wildlife was so nice so relaxing being in the bush. Another great adventure! Look forward to the next one🤜🤛 P.s did Don get his lure back??🤣
@PerspectiveAustraliaАй бұрын
They were really nice campgrounds. I reckon they’ve been completely rejuvenated since the 2021 floods. Winter camping is sounding so good right now 🤣. The heat has been relentless. That lure is a gonner. It was caught on a rock ledge we think. That lure flowed through weed all day no problem. If only we’d caught a fish to make up for it!
