Wow, Beethoven and Bösendorfer fit like a glove-so much more colour and character!!! I love how the pianist digs into the instrumental connection and response 💓💓💓❤️❤️❤️

Wonderful playing, such. crisp articulation! Is it just me, but does that 280VC have a different plate color from typical Bosendorfers (it looks more gold than copper-rose)?

Superlative playing from, Beatrice Berrut. And the dulcette tones of the Bosendorfer grand all perfectly combined to give a magnificent perfomance of this Mozart Piano concerto by the Berliner Kammerochester. One for the collection, certainly...

1:21:45 what absolute pretentious nonsense by music-haters masquerading as composers. But overall a helpful documentary, thanks.

The delicacy and stunning subtleness of Mozart’s Concerto is marvelously served by this great artiste. The special harmonic nuances are greatly enhanced by Boesendorfer’s magnificent grand, which is characterized by a subtly toned down treble register which gives the Concerto a Canaletto like hue…..like a beautiful sunset. What to say of Beatrice, conductor, orchestra and their interaction….???….they have done justice to Mozart’s soul….One would wish to have all 27 Concerti played by them!!

The Bösendorfer concert grand is, in my view, truly the finest piano ever created and constructed
@rogerward804726 күн бұрын
After the Steinway. 😂.
@Poppelmeister22 күн бұрын
@@rogerward8047😂😂😂 Steinway is a mainstream piano and built in mass production. They build over 6.000 pianos in their factories. Bösendorfer builds only 300 Grand Pianos per year. Each single Piano is a unique handcrafted masterpiece at the highest level of excellence, perfection and performance with a warm, shining tone. Compared with cameras Steinway would be a Nikon, Canon, Sony camera for the mass. Bösendorfer is like a Leica. This is for true lovers of the art of piano building. Steinway is like a Mercedes. Surely a beautiful car but nothing special. Bösendorfer is like a Bentley. A luxury Piano most people are dreaming of. But there‘re only few people in the world who really can afford and handle it. But if you’ve ever truly played a Bösendorfer you‘ll never want to touch and own any other piano anymore.

My favorite comparison is of the Graf and Broadwood at 49 minutes. The Broadwood has great power, and the Graf sings. Two incredible instruments for great expression.

Technically this is superb, as good as that of Glenn Gould’s, his interpretation is very good but falls short of Gould’s interpretation, which is genial, superb, unequalled. This Partita, as all of Bach’s keyboard compositions, organ compositions excepted, were written for the harpsichord, which did not have any dynamic capabilities. Gould interpretation comes the closest to imitating the harpsichord, not only to Benjamin’s interpretation but to any other pianist’s interpretation as well. Glenn Gould’s Bach is more Bach than anybody else’s Bach.
