Thanks! You gave me some ideas on what to do for Christmas 2024. I've bought berry-garlands for my tree that I didn't get to use for this past holiday season. And I really want to use ribbon and the garlands for this year, but I didn't know how to use both.

I am inspired to take down my Christmas decorations, but I must wait for a few days. My husband is having surgery on the 8th of January and my daughters are driving up from Texas to be with their dad. My youngest daughter has not seen my house decorated for Christmas in several years, so I am leaving everything until she has been here for a few days. The older daughter was here in mid December and has seen everything, but she said she would help take things down, so my stuff will be up for longer than I have ever left it! Normally I take down the 2nd of January. I move what furniture I can, but I have only come up with about three different arrangements in my living room. I will leave everything as I have it for the winter and then move it when I decorate for Spring. I would love to see anything you want to show us! You are so talented and you decorate just like I dream of decorating! I will be happy with whatever you do!

Hi Bethany, I will take down my decorations this coming weekend and I will also leave it sparse and undecorated for a few days. I love to decorate for most all the holidays, so even though it will be a bit early, I will decorate for Valentine's Day. I have a collection of Vintage (and a few antique) 3 dimensional Valentines that will be the focus of the décor but I do leave the tree up and decorate it with red heart ornaments that I have been collecting over the past 30 years or so. Happy New Year to you and your family. Oh, which tree did your daughter like best??

Just did this last night with my husband, l have a bunch of Christmas in every room, trees in every room . It took a very long time but we got it done by 11:30 last night. We were so tired❤

Bethany thank you for this video. I usually take my tree down on the Epiphany (Jan 6) and yes, I move my furniture around but I do it for every season lol (4 times a year). I get bored easily and I find it helpful for me to rearrange even though it would drive my kids nuts and the cat. My kids are all grown up now and I lost my husband 3 years ago but I still do it. I'm 70 years old and do it by myself but a bit slower than when I was younger. I find yours and others video's an inspiration and only follow those with small homes and into the vintage, shabby chic or moody styles. I'm so done with farmhouse style all the monotones and white are too boring. I love colour but not over powering.
