it’s mostly about a girl and her relationship with her mother and her friends at school. it’s R, so gauge whatever your kid would find shocking. it has some s*xual stuff, use of drugs and alchohol, and some curse words too.

If you can't find this one, there's another insightful documentary called "12th and Delaware" about a CPC in Florida. I think it's on Tubi TV or Max. It details the deceptive practices and emotional manipulation tactics of these centers.

There's always section 8 and utility assistance. Food pantries and snap. That's how I'm going to survive. I'm in Kansas on section 8 and SSI. I'm leaving soon to go back to Washington. Stay away from Kansas if you're a liberal.

I think this commenter is alluding to the idea that despite locals' attitude that they live in a near utopia of progress, nature, art and love it is merely a facade over the reality of some dark, deep seated issues in this community. It has the same issues as any city of its size, worse in some areas, but fancies itself a bastion of hope for the "rest" of the civilized world

Martha gave us wonderful insights into her experience directing her latest film, I'll Find You. The scenes are so real, you feel like you're right there. Great acting. Wonderful all around, touched me deeply.

Wonderful Q&A. Excellent job. I love this short film and had programmed it at the Annapolis Film Festival last year and we were planning on Brenda and John traveling to the festival in March 2020 but after Covid-19 cancelled our live festival and we rushed to put everything online, we didn't take the opportunity to do Q&A's with the short films. So kudos to you for taking the time to interview the makers of this beautiful short film!

What a film, and this interview was so interesting in terms of the filmaker's vision (from the book), method of working, and the depth to which her indigeneity informs the process. This film accomplishes what she talks about and I'm so happy to be at this festival to watch it. Loretta Todd, yes.
