Say I set *Back up my files* to once a day. So that means I'd have to plug the hdd back into the pc the moment 24 hours is up after it finishes every backup? And say I set *Keep my backups* to 1 yr. So that means I'd have to plug my hdd into the pc once a day everyday for 1 yr? I'm backing up my files so that I still have my data in case something goes wrong while upgrading to Windows 11. So can my windows 10 files be restored to the windows 11 pc? & what do u recommend I set those two options to? Cuz I'll restore my files immediately after something goes wrong in the upgrade. You can do the backup and restore for this because doing a System Image backup will only copy an entire Windows Operating System to your EHD not your personal stuff. It's corporate greed here at work as usual at MS.

Just found this video. Excellent. One question. You state that you won't see a dialog for the progress. How will we know it's finished with that first initial backup. And shouldn't we see the contents on the drive changing as files are backed up to it initially? I was able to see that happening on my laptop when I merely copied the files to external SSD drive. Thanks for feedback. Also, can we close out these windows and trust it will continue to do its thing or do we need to keep it open in the background as well. I haven't read any other comments or answers so sorry if they are there already.

It’s not working to switch screens because you are holding your other thumb on the screen and making it register as multi touch. I realize they should have thought of that, but it’s easy to learn to avoid it.

Does this allow you to turn the conversation awareness setting off? My issue with the airpods pro connected to my laptop is it keeps lowering the call volume when I speak.

this worked with MS teams calls but using just them for listening to music on PC doesn't work for me and I am not sure why. for calls on MS teams they work fine but the min I want to start listing to music while I am not a call no audio comes. do you know why?

Microsoft has changed up the page quite a lot and the "Manage Personal Site" option doesn't work anymore. But if you append ?view=5 to the url of the user's onedrive homepage, you can get to the recycle bin that way.
