This game looks briliant

That defense of 5 along with all of their abilities makes these little bastards tough to beat! And that’s playing with no elites. Add elites and it’s gonna be painful! That’s actually why I like these guys. They are a firm challenge for sure! 💥 🥊

Frontier doc is pretty good. The Gambler is my current favorite Wild West hero, though (though maybe it'll change when Hell Train delivers). Female frontier doc name? Nurse Ratched.

Great to watch again. Main misplay this time would be in character setup. You can't take level 2 of skills until character becomes rank 2. Also using a skill doesn't cost one of your actions. So Greet turn 2, when they unlocked the door, the could of moved etc after still. Adversary phase happens before NPC phase. If you roll the spawn 2 enemies, the rules say you only roll the spawn point per enemy type.. so if 2 Lamentors are coming, you roll the magic dice only once and they come on at the same point. If you rolled for 2 myrias, they'd come on at same point etc. Adversaries can open doors but it uses their action. So they'd move up to the door and only open it if the had actions left, if not, first action next turn, if door still closed, they'd use to open the door, if if that's there one and only action. Poison from lamentors only happens on a crit so it never did go off. For the first character each round, you only choose who goes first in the first round and then have to pass round clockwise. You can't choose who guess first each round depending on what's best. Hope that helps. Look forward to the next quest!

I’ve heard rumors that an “advanced dungeon saga origins” is in the works (actual character leveling etc…). That being said with how slow mantic tends to come when developing games , assuming the rumors are true , it wil probably be some time if we ever see an advanced dungeon saga origins.

It`s a long time since I played, but I think the order of activation on the initiative track is left to right along the top row, then left to right along the bottom row. Maybe the rules have changed since I played. That d20 must have been blessed by the priest!

12:18 you shot at a mob in melee combat with your character. Unless you have the skill ability you need to randomly decide who you hit.

Hi, regarding Cleave attacks I believe you only roll once and that sets your total dice for the attack. "Cleave: If a melee attack with this weapon defeats an enemy, you may resolve the same attack against another eligible enemy, removing one hit from the roll. You may continue to do this until you fail to defeat an enemy or there are no eligible enemies remaining." You rolled 3 hits on your initial roll so the first guy takes 3 hits, if that kills the target, the second guy would take 2 hits (3 minus 1) and if that creature is defeated then the 3rd guy would take 1 hit. If there had been a 4th target then you wouldn't have any dice left to apply damage. Thoughts?

Oh, since you liked Death May DIe, if you hadn't heard you might be interested in knowing there's a new Gamefound campaign launching December 3rd. Apparently this will add, among other things, a chance to pick up all previous content, as well as Godzilla (not just the smaller one that was released as a convention exclusive, but also a giant one you probably shouldn't get) and some kind of campaign mode which will add more narrative, which is pretty much the part that I'm excited about.

Everybody gets Shadows of Brimstone wrong. I've never gotten it 100% right, or watched a video of anyone who's gotten it 100% right (and I watch pretty much any English language playthrough of SoB I can find). I chalk that up to part of the game's charm. So I kinda doubt anyone has any sort of expectation that you should be getting it absolutely right. ESPECIALLY in Trederra, where they can layer so many different things onto an enemy. Like an enemy Sergeant can be modified by his Faction, his type, and gear... all things that modify the stats on the enemy card IN ADDITION to any Darkness or Growing Dread cards that can mess with it. In Trederra I often have note pad ready for every encounter and scribble out what I'll need to know so it's all in one spot, instead of spread across 4+ cards... and I still forget stuff. I always figure it works out in the end since I always seem to forget at least as many things that work for me as work against me, so you know... balance.
