I used to believe (thanks to indoctrination from sports shoes companies) that their shoes are only meant to be used for 6 to 12 months tops and have to be replaced with new shoes after that period because the soles would have lost their bounce and totally worn-out. Well, they're basically the same as old school leather shoes so cobblers and restorers like Vetiver can easily take out the totally blown and worn-out soles and replace them with new soles if only the shoes company provide them and encourage this kind of business. Imagine your running shoes lasting 2 years or more and getting more comfortable as the years go by thanks to regular sole replacement.
