Dudes if you come to Omaha catch a USHL hockey game. Lots of great prospects come out of the USHL or end up there. It’s as good as you’re going to get in the US next to seeing OHL, WHL, or QMJHL up in Canada for junior hockey. Also if you’re looking for something to do the Omaha Henry Dooy Zoo and Aquarium is one of the largest in the world not including the Safari zoo you can drive into the fields with some of the animals.

Very curious what you guys think of with the changes to the Blues roster Saad on waivers and the Thunderbirds putting Marcus Sylvegård on waivers.

Very curious what you guys think of the Blues lack of draft picks this year and how that will have a trickle down effect on the Springfield Thunderbirds? They have a lot of prospects in the system right now and many more coming up from the previous two drafts.

Loving this podcast!I bought Flohockey to follow my USHL Tri-City Storm and as a Blues fan was excited to find out I could also watch Springfield Thunderbirds hockey!during the game this Sunday I heard someone mention the podcast and I had to follow. On my 2nd episode today! Excited to keep watching and following Springfield Thunderbird hockey from central Nebraska.

Of note, the friends I was asking for are the Springfield players.

Also, bad behavior. I wonder if Sonar hasn't been back in the MMC since some kids were smacking on him some months ago without parents reining them in. I've missed Sonar at our home games against Hartford lately.

I wonder if this team cares about winning, or even simply upholding the Thunderbirds' brand. That is my question for the last three seasons. Let's not reminisce about Gaudette. He was missing for many games last season.

I forgot to make an honorable mention to former Springfield goalie Curtis McElhinney as I used to watch him play in college at Colorado College way back and btw he did root for Springfield in the finals that year. yes, he responded to my instagram message. Awesome guy!

I think it’s a code of conduct in my opinion if I get a puck from the game I always hand it to a kid! I once went to a Colorado College game and a puck dropped in front of my feet so I picked it up and handed it to the child behind me. I just enjoy the wins,sometimes losses if it’s a close game. Also with Chuck a puck if someone misses and the puck lands in my proximity I give throw it on the ice for them and I actually almost won for a stranger once. I think there’s a unwritten code of conduct with hockey fan etiquette. Snuggerud? 22:24 Lol we’ll be talking about him next season. We should talk about the draftees one day! You can only be a fighting team if your butts can cash those checks. We ended up on the losing end of the entire equation. You have to play hockey first, before you start throwing gloves.
