Sir time of crossing =w/vp kyu hua ,t=distance / velocity) hoti hai aur boat ne toh w wala distance cover hi nhi kiya wo toh mud gayi hai jiske wajah se w se jada distance ho gayi aur velocity of boat toh (vp jcap+ vr icap) ho gayi hai na toh uss hisab se .....(TIME =distance covered by boat / speed of boat) honi chahiye na Please sir explain this doubt It ll be great help 😢

Hi, dekho boat k motion ko 2 parts me divide kro, ek motion along river flow, ek motion perpendicular to river flow. Ab jo bhi velocity perpendicular to river flow hai, vhi responsible hai river ko cross krne k liye..haina? To tumhe ye dekhna hai...kisi bhi case me time nikalne k liye ki river k perpendicular velocity kitni hai

Jb person river k perpendicular chlna start krta hai..to uski poori velocity Vp responsible hai river cross krne k liye..isliye time w/Vp hai. perpendicular to river kitna distance travel krna hai..width k equal..and us direction me responsible velocity kitni hai Vp ( in case of crossing in minimum time)
