Hello, Poliscan Fm1 is a Lidar - a laser-based speed measuring system. There is a chance to detect a laser beam with a portable radar detector, however, after the detection of a laser pointing at your vehicle, there is only a fraction of a second to react, so for these systems, you would need active protection also known as laser jammer.

Zdravím, jaký je rozdíl mezi umístěním do vertikální a horizontální pozice? Jenom mě zmátlo, že u vertikální je v závorce pro ČR. tudíž horizontální pozice je v ČR nelegální?

Dobrý den, nejedná se o otázku legislativy, ale maximální funkčnosti. V ČR jsou policejní radary používány s polarizací pootočenou o 90°, tedy ve vertikální pozici a nejlepší detekci tak budete mít pokud bude detektor ve stejné poloze. @@RichmanMoneyEye Just because it's better to be protected now than too late I wouldn't wait. I can't give you a specific date now, If we are talking about the successor of the GENEVO MAX- it will not be anytime soon. However, MAX still keeps getting new important FW updates and you can always upgrade the model later!

Hello, in some cases, in such a short distance facing directly at the radar detector, the Spectre can beep. However, this is an extreme example you will probably not face in a real-life (as police cars will not approach you this way)

Thanks for the videos showing us the Max in action! Why is this video tagged RAI? It's not using Radenso AI. Looking at the video description, is RAI a reference to the 35.5 Ka system you have in Spain? I'm a little confused.

Hello, yes RAI2002 and RAI2002 Plus are Ka 35.5GHz radars used in Spain.

why do people say immune (not detectable) .. if the Spectre detected it... ok yes it was very close range, but still... it detected it.

Actually, Ramer has quite low power compared to old Ka radars. However, the power is similar to Multanova 6F which is being uded in several European countries.

Nice detection! Great rampup too. Isn't the RT4 supposed to be one of the latest models that's extremely difficult to detect? I like that you shot a vertical video which pairs nicely with a vertical mount, haha. :D

The video is from one of our customers who encountered this new RT4, which is indeed extremely hard to detect, our latest firmware on our Genevo ONE M is doing really well against them!
