How many days a week do you hit the gym? Just wondering Ik truck drivers are on the road constantly I work out alot and I wanted to obtain my CDL but I don’t want it to mess up my gains in the gym and being able to workout if you could reply that would be very helpful

Got my CDL last year with the plan on never going over the road because I have a family & need to be local. My girl uncle is a OO & needed a driver, he said get your CDL & you’ll have a job. I didnt want to drive cause I worked FedEx for 2 years & that experience alone made me not want to be in the truck (also have my barbers license) but the money was good & with my girls uncle knowing my family situation I pulled the trigger I spent 5k up front on school & soon as I finish I call him to see when I can start. He tells me he’s gonna call the insurance co to put me on. Calls me back the next day & says unfortunately I can’t hire you because insurance is gonna cost him 15k for the year since I don’t have experience He says find a company to work for a couple months/year then come back & you can work for me. I said That wasn’t the plan & it’s your turn to spend money because I came out of pocket 5k to go to school based off your word Moral of the story, lock in on what you want to do with your CDL & don’t diverge from the plan because Everyone is gonna pull you in different directions DO YOUR RESEARCH THIS NOT FOR EVERYBODY

They will put bad report on your DAC record, they did this to another driver that quit cause they kept cheating him out of his money. So when he quit they put a lot of stuff on his record. They won’t even verify his employment with them and he was with them almost a year. He ran his butt off for them and they did him like that. It’ll mess your driving record up for sure.

And when you have a truck with things like a fridge, you should turn your batteries off in the truck so they won't drain. Each battery is several hundred, and your truck has 4. That is something you should have learned already. When it was completely dead like yours was, thats because they turned the battery switch off.

Turn your batteries on in the truck. Switch down by the seat

Basic math. You gonna be making less money per mile and your gonna be taking 2 days off every week. You are gonna make alot less money than you were with US Xpress
